But I don't think they'd every get a divorce - just unlike other reality shows, they show more of the little fights and stuff. I do think Matt is very patient though.
And damn that house is a mess. Not sure how Jeremy is so anal about having bugs in the pool but the rest of the house if like a friggin pig pen. You know what's interesting, I don't think they've ever shown Matt and Amy's bedroom - at least that I can remember. I wonder what that looks like.
And Zach's got a giiiiirl frieeeeend. About time... He was the hit of all those LPA conferences. Those girls are going to so crushed when they find out he's dating a normal height chick. Although it was a bit awkward for him trying to make his move - especially with a camera around. That's got to be tough.
I can't believe Jeremy is still dating that other woman. I'd think he'd be able to pull all the ladies - she's not all that. And the earring? Whoa - I thought they went to some Christian school with strict dress codes. I can't believe the school would let guys wear earrings if they make them cut their hair to certain lengths.
And I do think Matt should have gotten off - there was "reasonable doubt." And yes, it was created in large part because Matt refused a breathalyzer (which his attorney probably told him to do last time he got dinged). That's why if you refuse a breathalyzer, you still lose your license. Driving is a privilege - not a right. He got lucky the jurors went on the internet and the judge declared a mistrial. But at least you don't have a DUI on your record or have to go to jail.
(As you can tell, I watch this show entirely too much - my wife and I are big fans though).

Does he really lose his license for 3 years? He says on teh show "a few more months" and earlier said it had been 6 months since it happened, so that would mean 9-10 months total.
You dont' take the breathilizer, you're guilty in my eyes, its just that simple. And since when can you administer a blood test "unfairly". I could maybe see the breath test, but what is he going to do? Switch Matt's blood with his own?
And I loved how Matt and Zach went off on him for the earring. That was classic.
I've also discovered its cool now to talk about yourself in first person, so Joeboo is going to do that more because Joeboo wants to be hip with the kids.

You can't be "forced" to take a breathalyzer test - it would, in essence, be forced testimony against yourself in violation of the 5th Amendment. They also can't "presume" your guilty because you didn't take it. Again - that pesky Constitution. However, they can suspend driving privileges if you refuse to take it which is what they did. Each state is different.
I didn't think they offered him a blood test?
But anyway - most criminal defense lawyers will tell you that if you've been drinking at all and you get pulled over for DUI, you should not take a breathalyzer test. It's much better to lose your license for refusing a breathalyzer then to get convicted of a DUI. I suspect since Matt's gotten in trouble before, that was the advice he was given.
If you blow in a breathalyzer and its over the limit, you should ask for a blood test when you get to the station because they're more accurate.

Good first episode. I'd be absolutely shocked if it doesn't end with that family coming over here. By airing on American TV they put a bit of a target on that's family's back if they stay in Iraq.

Wasn't sure if people had heard....but Mike, the family friend passed away back in June
Wonder how they're gonna incorporate this in the show....maybe a season finale? So sad...

Re: Little People, Big World
If after last year’s Little People, Big World series finale, you were concerned about the state of Matt and Amy Roloff’s marriage, or if they decided to sell the farm, and how the older boys, Jeremy and Zach Roloff, are doing as adults, TLC has a solution for your curiosity.
TLC has confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that it has ordered four new specials with the Roloffs. Production has already begun with the first one currently scheduled to air in early October. The first special will address some of the cliffhangers in the series finale.
“The response from the fans since Little People Big World’s finale has been overwhelming, asking how we’re doing and what’s the latest with the kids,” Matt and Amy Roloff say in a joint statement. “These specials are going to be a great opportunity to share our families’ updates with our fans from time to time through the year.”
“Across six seasons, the Roloffs shared unfiltered access to their remarkable lives, and these specials are a great opportunity to update the TLC audience on their latest developments,” says TLC GM, Amy Winter. “Matt and Amy will always be part of our network’s family and we know their fans will be excited to reconnect.”
