And who was the genius that decided not to make an episode of this & one of two side characters getting buried alive?

Seriously, that clip of the girl in the lab (from Lost Experience) explains more about the plot than the 2nd half of season 2.

Anyhow, I think Lost needs to take example from "The Shield". It's better to have 12 amazingly awesome episodes a season than 20+ elongated ones which are 1/2 filler.

They can go fuck off ... The third season of LOST is far better than the second and creeping up there towards the first.
Problem though, as mentioned, is two-fold--you're going to have trouble getting back the people who gave up on the show earlier this season, and you're also going to have trouble getting new viewers.

Now, I have a friend who rented the DVDs and watched the first half of this season through "alternate channels", and is now caught up and watching the shows live. But he's the exception to the rule, as its a big commitment to watch 60-odd shows in a small amount of time like that and catch up.
