They need an asteroid hit show.
After watching Jericho I keep thinking about how much cooler it would be if instead of a stupid government conspiracy/nuclear war you have a town after an asteroid as destroyed half the nation. Or multiple asteroids with more coming. I don't think that has been done before on TV has it? Seems like an idea that past due. Thoughts?

Don't give them any ideas. These type of shows only started to come about because of the popularity of Lost, but I don't think we need a lot of them, and we don't need any rip offs of Jericho, and an asteroid series would inevitably draw comparisons.

How about a Volcano that destroys most of the earth. I believe this has been done on the Sci Fi channel as well.
The one I saw was with Luke Perry and Michael Dorn.

Is not!!
We always hear about how close asteroids get to us and how one day we will all die by their hands. So make a show about it? Lame? Is Jericho lame? Yes but people still watch it don't they. CSI is lame but there's 3 different ones that have been on for 10 years.
