who else is excited for the third season of this great discovery channel show? starts back up april 3rd. i just heard about it and im pretty psyched. i loved the past seasons, i cant believe that is what those guys do for work...while i sit at a computer. it's nuts. cant wait to check it out. who is with me?!

Captain Sig and those crazy Hansen brothers kick ass! I can't wait to see if the Northwestern is once again the boat to beat.

yea, this show is soooo good. im so glad it is coming back. i cant wait. brings a lil action back to me week. this is a REAL reality show. great stuff.

Will Sig and bro be in this one? The ad states "new boats and new crews"? I am pumped as well....getting the DVR ready...lol

The commercial that I saw did say new crews and it did not show Sig. However, it did show the Northwestern boat as well as the Time Bandit(both from last season). Unless Sig sold his boat, I would assume that he'll be back.

I love this show, although it got a lot less exciting with the quota system they changed to.

well no matter what i am psyched to see all the new footage they are talking about. apparently they added a lot of different cameras. should making watching even better than before. and this was a fantastic show to begin with. im really looking forward to checking this out.

This is one of my favorite shows. It screams for a HD broadcast though.

I get Discovery HD, but there are a bunch of shows aired on Discovery SD that are obviously filmed for HD but never air on the HD channel (Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, to name a few). Am I missing something?

not sure about the HD. oh well. but i wish every show was in HD, so what do i know. regardless i so excited for this show to return. one of the best out there. i was so happy when i found out there would be a third season.

I saw this show for the first time last year thinking that I would not like it much. After an episode or 2 I was hooked big time. Good news on the upcoming season!!!

Season 1 of this great show is coming out tomorrow in a 5 DVD set and Amazon has it for just $15.99. No problem.:) I don't know if you guys know this, but Discovery is currently showing the first couple of seasons Monday through Friday at 10 AM/3 PM. You might want to fire up those DVRs and Tivos to get you ready for the upcoming season.

i watched the season 2 recap this weekend. got me sooo excited for tonight! i cant wait to see the new seasons. the recap + those promos really got me pumped. it's finally back tonight!

I really can't think of the last time I was so excited for a new season of a show to start. And to make it worse I have to wait until the 1am airing. I don't remember what they are but I already have two shows being recorded on it's normal timeslot.

If you don't want to stay up late or record it, Discovery will be re-airing this episode on Thursday at 10 PM.

I wish they would show this on discovery-HD.

They do...at least according to my Verizon Fios DVR...I am DVRing it on the HD channel.

Not according to DirecTV.

My cable doesn't have it listed as HD either. I could be wrong but I doubt they would have taken HD cameras to film this. If it is showing on a HD channel it's probably still 4x3 and just up-converted. I would be nice if I were wrong though. Please let us know how it looks.

Solid first episode. However, I am disappointed in the in your face sponsorship(the Lexus radar, the Yellow Pages crab count, etc).

Better to have sponsors pick up some of the bill than to have no show at all.
