Have TV/movie writers ever been to a high school reunion?
Because, in real life, they are NEVER in the high school gym, and are usually at a hotel or banquet hall. Also, tickets for reunions usually run from about $75 to $200, and if you haven't paid and have your ticket, you're shit-out-of-luck, and aint getting in.
Anyways, besides that, the show was fine - good acting, and Gomez!

2) I'm sure that television writers are exactly the kind of people that have no desire to go to their high school reunion.

I have a question - it felt like I missed a scene or something.
Near the begining, the cop has them pulled over, one kid has sneaked into the cop car and another kid fakes a seizure (with the fake foaming and everything), and when they come back to the scene, the cop's driving away (with the presents) - and nothing about the seizure or the kid in the cop car is ever addressd. What happened?

I thought it was a pretty good pilot. Will definitely stick with the show as long as possible. Izzard is awesome and Minnie was great. The previews for future episodes looked intriguing.

I know I read that they reshot about half of the original pilot because it was "too dark." Maybe it wasn't a major point and the storyline just got a little lost along the way.

Anyway, overall I thought it was decent. It was good enough to keep my coming back a couple weeks. I do hope they have a few more light scenes in future episodes. Having Eddie Izzard is such a waste if they don't keep plenty of comedy mixed in.

A Strange show, but I plan on tuning in for a few weeks to see if it finds its footing. I like Izzard and Driver so that will keep me coming back for a couple of weeks.

Am I the only one still watching this? Haven't noticed a thread in awhile. I thought it had kind of been going downhill, but really enjoyed last week's meth episode. I think there are only 2 or 3 left...

Still watching it too. This is probably my favorite FX show (this or Thief), mainly because I actually care about what happens to the family.

I'm still watching. But mainly because the wife likes it. The show kind of grates me.
Like I said before, good acting, but I just don't care about these characters. Travelers? And now they're not even Travelers, they're identity thieves.

Yeah, I'm still watching it too, and still enjoying it. I've gotten to like every member of the family, as they've all grown on me. The only times I don't care for the show is when Izzard is trying to get away with a lie - I guess it's just the uncomfortableness of it that rubs me wrong. The acting on this show is really really good.

Plus, I never bought the actors as the characters they played.

Where I differ is that I think for the most part the acting is excellent, in particular Mr. Izzard.

Here's an unqualified rave for the show. Since the characters are living on a tightrope (of deceptions, so to speak) it follows that each show will be looking at how close they get to falling off. But the mix of comedy and drama still rings (mostly) true ... especially if you read the news stories of people who live like this. There are more of them among us than you think. Plus, as even the detractors admit, the acting is terrific.
