What Shows series finale was most emotional to you?

Though it wasn't the finale, the ending to Firefly's "The Message" was quite emotional. I found out later via the commentary that that was Whedon's way of saying bye to the show and its fans. They had been informed about the cancellation while shooting that episode, so Whedon used a particular scene at the end of the episode to say goodbye to everything Firely. Very haunting and touching I thought, especially the very last frame.

With the loss of The WB, I think this kind of drama is gone. There really isn't anything like it on TV now.

I wish I could have seen the extended "director's cut" of the finale on DVD, which supposedly featured the return of some past characters.
Unfortunately at the time it was as expensive as the first season DVD - nearly $40 for a single 2 hour episode!
I couldn't watch the series on DVD because as much as I couldn't stand it, the show wouldn't be the same with that horribly cheesy "I Don't Want To Wait" theme song, which apparently was replaced with the song used in the UK broadcasts.

As many others have said, Six Feet Under.
Like being hit by one emotional punch after another.
The Office (UK) is quite good as well, more of a happy feeling on that one.

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned cowboy bebop yet, I still get chills every time I hear "Blue."
Dinosaurs was also depressing and is very relevant in today's times.
I also like Futurama's finale, It always makes me smile every time I watch it.
Home Movies' ending is both depressing and appropriate at the same time.

Even though I think the X-files finale was one of the worst, the way it was put together, and the show lasting too long, it was still the most emotional for me. It held onto me for NINE years, and when it was finally done, I had to say good bye to the characters that I had watched Every Friday and Sunday nights.

7TH HEAVEN - Great finale... but then the show came back, so now we will have to say goodbye to the Camdens forever.. again..
I would have to say the most emotional ending for me was and still is "The Wonder Years" When everybody is standing and watching the parade and Kevin is narrating what happens, I always loose it when is says that Wayne takes over the family business after their dad dies... Then he tells everybody that Winnie and him are not together anymore.. My favorite show of all time...
