Aaron Sorkin might as well start writing the series finale. I doubt NBC will spend over $3M an episode for another season when this show is only getting 6.5M viewers a week.

As I posted last night.

I think Sorkin should start working on a new show. Is there a incredibly less amount of money in cable TV? I think he's more suited for FX, HBO or Showtime.

After the treatment he got with Sports Night, and leaving the West Wing mid-run, I was surprised that he came back to NBC with Studio 60.

I agree that FX, HBO, or even Showtime would be much better suited for his type of show.

Sorkin needs a new schtick. His plot devices are starting to be (annoyingly) obvious ... and makes me reach for reading material. Not a good sign.

Third-ed (?) Network fingerprints all over them. And not for the better. Most of the episodes shown since coming back in January have been less satisfying then those broadcast before Christmas. The tinkering the network is doing is damaging all the aspects of the show that make me want to continue watching it...

I'll enjoy it while it lasts, but the network-enforced "improvments" will ensure that this doesn't make it past season 1.

Sorkin needs to get to FX fast...
