"We need more whackings!" - Oops, wrong show...

You forgot... 25 mins of commericials and only 35 mins of actual runtime

porieux 02-07-07 05:57 PM

I don't even know what AI stands for.

movieking 02-07-07 06:58 PM

Only for this thread, I would not have known that it was new again. I have definitely lost a lot of interest in this show this season.

This was mentioned in TV guide as well.

RichC2 02-07-07 09:10 PM

And its back, this show loves setting stuff in Florida.

Flay 02-07-07 09:11 PM

Was that Calamity Jane from Deadwood? (her sick sister in Miami)

beatccr 02-07-07 09:11 PM

i can't remember if juliet's last name was ever mentioned before but..

wtf, she's dr. burke, jack's dr shepherd...what is this Grey's anatomy name sharing?

stingermck 02-07-07 09:20 PM

This is why I like watching Lost on DVD. I would be fast forwarding this flashback.

RichC2 02-07-07 09:26 PM

I see they're cutting the Flashbacks a lil differently, commercial/flashback/realtime.

And gut instinct tells me this will ultimately be a pretty important flashback. Dunno why... and it probably won't pop out in this ep.

...and is that Mac? And is this A Clockwork Orange?

invisiblegt 02-07-07 09:33 PM

McElhenney you cowardly bastard.

RichC2 02-07-07 09:38 PM

Good to see he's getting work outside of Philly rotfl

Aphex Twin 02-07-07 09:41 PM

What's going on in Portland that they aren't showing Lost there?

invisiblegt 02-07-07 09:43 PM

Subtle they are not...

stingermck 02-07-07 09:43 PM

Shit, did i just flip over to Nip/Tuck?

Ghostface180 02-07-07 09:43 PM

Nice Final Destination moment

RichC2 02-07-07 09:52 PM

Did Kate go get herself some acting lessons?

And yeah, definitely not the most subtle episode, but it certainly was entertaining. And we're 2/3rds off the damned mini-Island.

Patman 02-07-07 10:05 PM

Hmm...

Alex is Ben's daughter (so Ben knows Rousseau, then?)

Crazy A Clockwork Orange tribute for Carl. These are some wacky scientists setting all these rooms and viewing stations.

Glad to see Kate a Star Wars fan.

Juliet got snookered onto the island. That was a good Final Destination moment, wasn't it?

Achtung 02-07-07 10:05 PM

They sure like the "person getting hit by vehicle with no warning Felicity-style" effect on this show.

But what came first, Final Destination or Felicity doing it?

I mean, the scene was shot for shot out of FD.

Spoiler:

Alex everytime you see him, then you can just drop fucking dead!

Head and shoulders remaining angrily in Carter's direction Terry takes a
blind step off the curb and into the crosswalk, WITHOUT A CUT... a bus
suddenly speeds INTO FRAME and, THUD! plows directly right into her...

ALEX, CLEAR, CARTER and MS. LEWTON are SPLATTERED with BLOOD before they can even recoil.

maingon 02-07-07 10:11 PM

Pretty good episode I thought. The others are finally alittle more interesting and cant wait to get back to the other survivors. This episode got me excited for the rest of the season.

wasnt that Sawyer that mentioned the star wars quote

Patman 02-07-07 10:16 PM

But it was Kate's idea.

HE Pennypacker 02-07-07 10:18 PM

Pretty good. Prettay, prettay, prettay, prettay good.

Patman 02-07-07 10:20 PM

This was one of the episodes where I was surprised when the show was over, so I guess I wasn't as bored as I was with the previous episodes from the fall.

magiccmom 02-07-07 10:22 PM

LOST IS BACK, BABY!! Thought it was a great episode. Great moments. It's got me back, and I'm so excited they are gonna wrap up this other island. I forgot how good this show could be. Heard the focus is back with the original cast this season. Glad they are reading the posts. I 'm just happy to see Kate and Sawyer out of the damn cages.
