That ending got a big WTF? They've been hinting that was Faye all season and have had an older women under the wraps, now it turns out to be Daniel's supposed dead brother who's had a sex change. At least they ave Rebecca Romijn playing him/her.

Unfortunately, it didn't get that big of a WtF from me...
I got spoiled by reading Ausiello today before I watched the ep. Then again, it wouldn't have been that hard since they had Becky's name come on the screen right when they were focusing on her eyes - and she does have distinctive eyes.
Well, to me anyways..
Regardless, as always, I enjoyed the episode. AND we got to see Betty's sis in a bra. Now, if we could only get her on the elevator with Salma and they could both strip down to their bras...

The only thing i'm not understanding is his/her "hatred" for Daniel. I didn't think they had a bad relationship..

Yeah, that definitely earned a
from me. Vanessa Williams and Becki Newton do such a great job with their characters in this show. It doesn't hurt that they are both very attractive.

I agree with the posters who said the ending was a big WTF moment for me. I have just been figuring that Faye faked her own death in an attempt to take over the company. I guess not, though! I had heard that Rebecca Romijn would play the mystery woman, but I just figured that Faye would have had extensive plastic surgery or something like that.
I have to admit that I have to giggle a little bit when I think of Rebecca Romijn playing a transexual. That just seems so strange. It must've been hard on Daniel's brother, being such a pretty man previously and all, getting whistles from men as he walked away from them and then shamed looks when he would look back.
Please tell me that there isn't going to be an incest thing going on between Daniel and his brother/sister.

Finally caught up with this episode and since, I wasn't reading any spoilers for this show, the ending got a WTF shock from me since I was expecting it to be Faye and not Daniel's older brother now sister. Are we to assumed then that Faye is indeed dead and that the father will get blamed for her death hinted by the package that Christina is delivering to the police?
I love the amount of eye candy on this show and the inclusion of Rebbeca Romjin is a welcome plus.
I don't think that the sister's problem is with Daniel himself but what he represents (money, upper class) and doesn't want Betty having delusions of actual being able to live that kind of life and being disappointed for not acquiring it.

EDIT - Actually, this is what I found from Watch with Kristin site in regards to Alexis reasons for hating not just Daniel but his family:
