Worst episode in a long time. I get the Zissou thing and all, but there were only maybe two chuckles in the entire 30 minutes.

WORST EPISODE EVER!

But seriously, I thought this was a decent episode considering this was a perfect storm rip off.

Funny to bring in the ipod and tivos.

Climbing the big wave was neat.

I didn't even catch the Life Aquatic connection. The Perfect Storm one was easy.

I wished they hadn't shown Homer golfing off of the ship in the commercials, otherwise that would've been even funnier than it was.

I liked Moe, Carl and Lenny going to help Homer, but not doing it because they don't want to stand around in the rain waiting for the car doors to get unlocked, even though Moe has one of those car remotes that does it for him.

I also liked Homer throwing Maggie to stake the last open spot on the ground for the movie as well as Lenny and Carl complaining about no color or sound.

Loved that they took another shot at Brazil.

Marge's line about "Mr. funnygoodfeeling" describing the merry go round had me rolling.

"Yeah, that's right, I know about Milhouse..."

Speaking of which, when/how did the VanHoutens get back together?

Solid episode, BTW.

Maybe they just got together for the afternoon for Milhouse's sake?

Wow, plenty of CGI in this episode. I wonder if making the movie has shown them it's a time saver to do so?

I guess I missed a few episodes, but why do Selma & Patty have a baby?

They adopted an Asian girl a while ago.

Selma has a severe hot flash while giving Mr. Burns his driving test. Dr. Hibbert explains (with help from a video starring Robert Wagner) that Selma is experiencing the onset of menopause. Selma, forgetting the problems she had with Bart and Lisa in "Selma's Choice", decides she wants a baby rather than grow old alone. Adoption is suggested, but the Springfield orphanage is empty. Lisa suggests adopting a baby girl from China. One problem: the Chinese government only allows married couples to adopt. No problem; Selma writes down a name for her husband - Homer's - and "The Simpsons are going to China!" (with Marge acting as Bart and Lisa's nanny) so Selma and Homer can pick up the baby together.

Some chuckles. I missed the Life Aquatic references.

Milhouse of Sand and Fog (#GABF19 / SI-1619) 25 Sep 05
When Maggie comes down with the chicken pox, Homer actually takes some advice from Flanders and holds a "pox party" so his friends could have their kids infected. After one too many Marge-aritas, Kirk and Luanne van Houten decide to get back together. However, Milhouse realizes they're too interested in each other and not interested in him, so he tries to breaks them up by planting a bra in his parents' bedroom. One problem: Luanne discovers it's Marge's bra, which leads to Homer and Marge breaking up yet again...

Don't ask me why, but I really liked this week's episode.

Finally watched this episode and I didn't mind it. Some pretty good lines.
