24 Day 6 Prequel....Jack Bauer in China

Found this on Youtube. It's the real deal. It's broken up into 2 parts.

Notice how Kiefer has no lines in this prequel. I think this prequel finally gives us a little closure to the chinese storyline.

the unveiling of the getaway vehicle was truly a moment.

not sure how Jack staring aghast at the supposed double agent confirmed their suspicions

They might as well play this prequel in every Toyota dealer show room across the country.

Interesting...although I truly don't remember Hong. Was he really someone who helped Jack break into the Chinese consulate?

i love too how the Toyota vehicle is was the RAV4 which isn't suited for any remotely difficult off road terrain. Had it have been a Tundra or something that it would have been less laughable.

Yeah, it's already been mentioned previously that someone else that we know and love is President. It's a wonderful country we live in!

I don't care if the shiny new Toyota is about as subtle as a 2x4 across the head--still great to see Jack back. (But man--he did blow it just there.)

So much for S6 being a totally different (and needed) departure for the show.

Um, what? As far as this has been running, last season was pretty darn different. If you're unhappy though, poop away.

What's the needed departure your looking for? The show is about the war on terrorism. Terrorism is in the news and is a constant part of our daily lives.

Besides, the show hasn't begun airing yet, so it's silly to be making assumptions about it at this point.

Yeah, I didn't care much for the car commercial aspect. But hey, it's just a little prequel bit. Surprised Jack didn't take the opportunity to drop another F-bomb like in the Season 4 prequel, eh well...

Haven't all the previous prequels had some ridiculous car advertisement too?

I didn't care for that - not so much for it's car commercial aspect, but because of the way Jack go duped.

The show is all about how Jack is always right, and never falls for any tricks, and can see 5 moves ahead of his antagonists - the way he falls for this set up goes against everything this show is about.

Or if he is a double agent, why he's just hanging around waiting for a bullet in the head.

(Or if he was duped into helping Jack escape, then that pretty much confirms any suspicions the Chinese government had about the guy right there. No real need to stage an elaborate phony rescue at that point!)

Well, not exactly...

Spoiler:
I mean, otherwise his wife wouldn't be dead. Then again, I guess you could argue he was like 20 steps ahead that time, then got fooled, but I know what you mean. It's not wise to mess with Jackie boy...
