Best online TV listings site?

Ok, had to start this thead originally to bitch about Yahoo TV site changing today, the old format was great and had local tv listings that you could personalize by choosing your zip code and type of service (cable, satellite, etc.), but then I go there today and there is this crappy new Beta version that is terrible. [/rant]

Also, thought I would also ask what is the best/your favorite tv listings site? And why do you like it? I always used Yahoo TV site, which I really liked and google cache still has the old site, so if anyone knows how to get to the old Yahoo TV site, it would be appreciated.

Zap2it is pretty similar to the old Yahoo listings, I use if I'm in a hurry but most of the time I use TitanTV.

I feel Zap2It is usually the most up-to-date online-listings site.

Tags all the show that are in HD. Tells you if the show is a new ep or a repeat + the title and mini write up of the ep. One can make a list of fav shows or actors or some ep of a tv show you are want to watch and the site will remind you when they show up..

plus with some tv cards you can click "record" for any show and it will dump the record time info to your card so you don't have go punch in "Tues 8pm..." etc

Wow, titantv is awesome. Thanks for the link. Ive been using zap2it, but since it changed, it never remembers my customization, and I don't see how to log in anymore. And it seems titan is faster than zap2it.

TitanTV has completely incorrect information for two of my PBS stations, and the HD information is not accurate. I'll be sticking with zap2it for now.

I had just started using Yahoo when my AOL listings seem the get sucky. I friggin' hate the new Yahoo crap listings!!! Had to go back to AOL (which is powered by Zap2It) since it seems less sucky now.

Thanks for the recommendations. Glad to see others who are upset about the Yahoo changes. I tried to email them to let them know what a useless piece of crap the site had become & that their sponsors need to know that some of us won't be visiting the site anymore, but couldn't get the "Contact Us" to work. Since the change, I've been resorting to the channel guides on the tv to let me know what was coming up (a pain...also can't use it when taping something since we have a converter box for pay channels). One of the main functions we enjoyed about the old Yahoo site was that you could see if the movie/show was airing anytime soon in the future (along with dates & times). When trying to decide what to record, that was an invaluable aid. Does either titantv or zap2it offer this feature? (EDIT: Never mind...tried zap2it & saw that it does!!) Thanks again for the sites...had tried TVGuide site & but gave up on it.

BTW...anybody know WHY Yahoo changed from a user-friendly site to one that is slow, frustrating, inadequate, and inferior in every way to the old service?

I assume it's the additional ad revenue they're getting from TiVo, etc -- notice you can't get info on movies anymore, only TV shows. I have emailed them several times complaining about the new "improved" listings and they sent me an unhelpful response about getting used to the new system, but at least someone's reading the email here:

So I'd suggest anyone who's stopped using Yahoo to use the form and tell them why.

Anyway, I just emailed them to tell them I'd had enough and was switching to another TV listing service. Thanks to all for your suggestions here, and it's somewhat comforting to see I'm not the only one giving up on Yahoo.
