Roy and Karen?

I don't think this has been mentioned, how about when the fat guy was quiting and the first thing Michael said was "Was it Toby?".

Best episode of the season IMHO. I can't wait to watch this one again tonight.

As far as expendable characters, Meredith seems most likely to be written out of the show since they hardly ever talk about her alcoholism anymore and most of the time she doesn't have any lines.

Also, did anyone see Las Vegas last week? There was a passing reference about Dunder-Mifflin wanting to rent another ballroom for their convention. I'm hoping they do a cross-over show later in the season.

They don't need to give her lines to explore her alcoholism. Remember the sippy cup from last season's "Valentine's Day" ep? And they did allude to it last night with her excitement at the sight of champagne and dissapointed look when she found out it was only for the "guests".

Great episode. Once again the only thing that brought it down a notch were Michael and Dwight's over the top hijinks. The "white men trying to rap" gag has been done so many times on so many shows it's decaying.

I take it you didn't catch the reference to Lazy Sunday?

Can't believe that are almost doing better than season 2

I think this was my favorite episode of the office yet. The show has had all season to get to know a little about the new characters before they would interact. I think the show delivered. Great humor with the Andy/Dwight and a great way to set up the future with Jim.

This was the funniest episode since THE INJURY. One of my favorite parts: Creed responding to Ryan with "Ditto that..." while ogling the breast-feeding woman.

"Was your dad a G.I.?"

um, that was really the point. even brought up later when michael asked is it was funny, and tony told him "no, was it supposed to be?" another indication of michael's infatuation with his own sense of humor, as well as showing how out of touch he is. "Lazy Sunday" was popular for about a month.

Fantastic episode finally was able to see it and one of the best. I felt so bad for pam, when Karen was rubbing Jims back, She looked like she was going to die. You really can tell she regrets telling him no. The Dwight and Andy stuff was fantastic. I loved the opening with Dwight running around the building.

Let's face it, she knows she blew it big time and she knows it's too late to change what she did. Jim, though still caring for Pam a great deal, has moved on. Pam has not.

Great acting on Jenna's part for the look on her face when Karen rubbed Jim's back, she looked destroyed :thumbsup:

dwight and andy are great. Show just keeps on getting better.

Everyone touched on almost all the funny parts. But no mention of the night at the roxbury part! Michael couldn't get the stereo to work, while indicating that it was the night at the roxbury jingle, so Andy goes ahead and starts to sing in. Michael starts singing along with him, and both start to use Tony as an unwitting participant in the sing-a-long dance moves.

I'm wondering if Pam will intentionally hook up with someone inside or outside the office to draw out Jim's jealousy and give him pause.

Andy rocks, all of the new people fit in and play off the regulars really well.

episode was ok, I could have done without the references/take-offs of two SNL skits

They seem to be setting up something with her and Toby. Probably not a "hook up" but perhaps an awkward date or somesuch.

Yeah too SNL skit references in one episode....eh. They were still funny though.
