Dexter - "Circle of Friends" - 11/12/06

"Circle of Friends"
Spoiler:
The identity of the Ice Truck Killer does not sit well with Dexter; Rita's ex-husband returns.

Just a wild guess, but I'm going to call the real identity of the Ice Truck Killer being
Spoiler:
that doctor that Sis is hooking up with. Just the way he sounded when mentioning his earlier work in human anatomy, and how the show seems to be pulling him into a larger role in the story.

My thoughts as well.

Good episode last night, despite there being no flashback with Dex's father.

Exactly how I feel as well. Although my thought process went "He looks kind of creepy... he's probably the killer.

Loved Dexter's smile at the end

This episode was delicious. The amount of tension and self-recriminations built up throughout the episode was top-notch. Rita's truly becoming a feisty lil' lady. Dexter realizing the game was still "on" produced an excellent reaction shot.

Great episode.

His disappointment when he thought the killer had been caught, and then the smile when at the end when the guy didn't recognize him were great.

Halfway through the ep I had a feeling they had the wrong guy. But I thought the show would end with Dexter coming home and finding another clue from the killer.

I hope you're wrong because I was thinking the same thing and that they they were hinting at it too heavily. It would still be interesting to watch it play out either way.

This episode was almost as good as last week.
