I have kept up with it and watch it each week, apparently one of the few, and hope it stays. I hope they get some better acting and come back stronger for a 2nd season.
I haven't seen a thread about Vanished in a while... what's the news on this show?

Looks like there's still a chance: http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news.aspx?id=7239
LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- FOX has pulled the plug on "Vanished" while fellow newcomer "Justice" is moving to yet another time slot.
"Justice" will take over "Vanished's" previous home of Fridays at 8:00/7:00c starting December 1.
The series had previously been set to return on Monday, December 11 at 9:00/8:00c.
As for "Vanished," a notice on the show's official web site indicates the remaining four installments of the series will be streamed online:
"The remaining four episodes will stream on the VANISHED myspace page, with a new episode posted every Friday at 12:01 PT, beginning Nov. 17th. Three episodes will be kept up at a time. The series finale will be posted online on Friday, December 8th."
As for FOX's Monday schedule, repeats of "House" will fill the night on December 11 and 18 while various previously announced specials will run until "24" returns to the lineup on January 15 ("The 2006 Billboard Music Awards" on December 4, the movie "Peter Pan" on December 25, the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl on January 1 and the BCS National Championship Game on January 8).

What makes them think Justice will do any better in this timeslot than Vanished? I wouldn't surprised if the numbers are even worse in this spot compared with Monday.

Not that it will be a total shock, but be prepared to see some really shitty Nielsen numbers again.

Fortunately my DVR found the show and I'll watch it over the weekend - I'm sure the viewership will be low.
Don't you just love it: when a show is having trouble finding its audience, the network then makes it difficult for the audience to find the show.
