SNL 11/04/06 - The Best of Darrell Hammond
http://img125.imageshack.us/img125/6605/hammondfz9.jpg
In light of next week's Elections, methinks that Lorne wanted to throw out a politically motivated "Best Of" ep in what they will call "The Best of Darrell Hammond." As long as they have him do Regis I'll be happy. Have they ever done a "Best of" of someone while they were still a cast member? <hr> Season 32 so far... 09/30/06 - (H) Dane Cook (M) The Killers 10/07/06 - (H) Jaime Pressly (M) Corinne Bailey Rae 10/21/06 - (H) John C. Reilly (M) My Chemical Romance 10/28/06 - (H) Hugh Laurie (M) Beck 11/04/06 - The Best of Darrell Hammond 11/11/06 - (H) Alec Baldwin (M) Christina Aguilera 11/18/06 - (H) Ludacris (M) Ludacris 11/25/05 - Thanksgiving Holiday 12/02/06 - (H) Sascha Baron Cohen (M) Fergie 12/09/06 - (H) Cameron Diaz (M) TBA |
I like Darrell so i'll probably watch it although im more excited about next weeks ep.

Is this going to be an hour and a half of Hardball skits?
|
Tim Russert v. John McCain on "Meet the Press"! That one was a classic!
Tim Russert: Let's talk about 20-28. Sen. John McCain: I'll be 90. Tim Russert: Alright. It's 2028. Genetic engineering has extended the human lifespan to 200 years. Would a relatively young John McCain challenge a re-animated Jimmy Carter zombie? Sen. John McCain: Now, President Carter's been a great humanitarian. Tim Russert: So, John McCain would back down? Are you afraid of Carter eating you? |
12/02/06 - (H) Sascha Baron Cohen (M) Fergie
anyone know if Baron Cohen will FINALLY be appearing as himself?? I can't imagine he'd be doing the whole night as Borat...it'd be kinda weird and difficult. lol. on the other hand, he can't really get rid of his Borat "look" because he's gonna have to keep doing press for international releases, no? we'll see. Lorne might end up wanting to trade his whole cast for Baron Cohen, or at least pay him $1 billion to be the new head writer. |
Sacha should do the entire show as Borat.
|
and give everyone else another week off?? heheh.

I didn't expect it to be mostly political, therefore I was bored. I was thinking, glad I didn't buy this.
|
I loved the Bill Curtis "A&E Promo Guy" stuff.
|
This episode made me sad. There was a lot of high-quality stuff there. Why haven't we had quality political sketch-work leading up to this election? It makes no sense.
The Dan Rather sketch was my favorite. CBS News is projecting that Andy Rooney has cholera. |
I laughed again at seeing Jesse Jackson "star-69'ing the Taliban". I don't know why, but I always would quote that bit.
I wonder why they no longer do Regis & Kelly? That bit was gold and they are both still on the cast. They just need a new gay Gelman. |
I was stoked to see my favorite Celebrity Jeopardy (the David Duchovny one) - I'll never understand why they can't write things that are that funny anymore.

The A&E promo guy stuff was the best.

"...Would a relatively young John McCain challenge a re-animated Jimmy Carter zombie?"
Hilarious... |
I was just watching this, and the segment with John McCain was on, and the phone rang.
It was John McCain calling to tell me who to vote for D.A. in DE tomorrow!! I'm scared, I think I'm being watched... |
