I was happy he finally came out.

I know some people may not think it's a big deal when a celebrity comes out, but to me, a young gay man, I wish there would have been more out celebrities a couple of years ago. When celebrities come out, it makes them visible gay people in the media, which lots of gay youth really need to see; normal, gay people. I know lots of people like to think they don't need to come out of the closet, because, HEY...It's their life; but the only way the gay rights movement can keep making strides is by people coming out.
