A known neighborhood sex offender is the primary suspect when two young boys are reported missing; Grissom asks for the sex offender's help in catching the boys' abductor, in an attempt to extract a confession.

Who knew Wash liked little boys.

Looks like tonight was the start of them

I believe he's doing some stage acting if I remember what I read about it...

this episode was pretty decent... but the last two episodes have had ZERO mystery. they have the suspect so early in the show. granted, this one was done much better (how they dealt with the guy feeling that he did absolutely nothing wrong), but last week's case had no revelations.

William Petersen is in Rhode Island doing a stage performance called "Dublin Carol". For more details about what that means for CSI, read on:

This is why he won't be on at least two episodes in January, and actor Liev Schreiber is set to appear in a recurring role as a CSI - in January...coincidence?

He is obviously the major guest star who is supposed to replace Grissom while he's on sabbatical.

I'm surprised they're bothering with a guest star to fill in. There's been episodes in the past where he's been in maybe, one, two scenes? They could just shoot a couple of those in advance and just put those scenes in.
