I agree with CaptainMarvel. That is exactly what I think happened. As I posted earlier, I just don't buy Wallace being that stupid to blatantly cheat.

Well, it wasn't by much, but VM did beat GG in the ratings by number of viewers. 2.27 for GG and 2.77 for VM.
Now, where's that statue. (for those that don't know, according to Rob Thomas, that if Veronica Mars ever beat Gilmore Girls, then the CW would build a statue of Kristen Bell at their corporate office.

Have to agree with those that dont think Wallace cheated...I just thought he did a "I could have, but didnt cheat" thing when he turned in the one he bought.

Did we actually get any genuine statements from him thinking Keith was guilty? I think all that was pressured by the FBI guy from L.A. who was wagering the accusations. Lamb was just along for the ride.

I think those that think Wallace didnt cheat on that test are just in denial...I just watched all of those scenes, and theres absolutely nothing to make me think he "did the right thing". Notice the look Wallace has on his face when he answers the door...it goes from the everythings alright look to the "Aww fuck" look pretty quick. And the song playing repeats the line "Im busted" over and over. Ok, so it does look like he turns in two tests, perhaps his test as well as the "study guide", but the way it plays out doesnt indicate anything other than he got caught cheating. I guess we will find out Tuesday though?

OK, so I only pop in to the TV forum every so often, so if this has been mentioned in a VM thread before I apologize:

Francis Capra (Weevil) has some kind of leg injury. It's probably not something with his bones, because doctors are giving him steroids for it. That's what's causing the zits and weight gain. You can also see that he's limping (slightly) in the show.

Between "Adrian Monk" and "Frack", VM is certainly doing a good job of referencing the non-broadcast shows this season.

Ahh, I knew something had to be up with him, injury-wise. He was always pretty well-built, so for him to let himself go seemed really strange. I figured there was an injury of sorts over the summer break.

This was an okay episode. I agree with the others with not liking Veronica quickly jumping to blame Weevil for the casino robbery. I don't think Weevil would steal something that Libby gave V, considering how close Weevil and Libby were before she died.

I also agree with people that Wallace wrote 'I bought a copy of the test to cheat, but I couldn't.' on his test. I never got the impression he answered all the questions, as the teacher only looked at the front page, and I would think a test would be longer than one page.

The ending twist with the rape storyline left me scratching my head, and wondering where it's going.

After some digging around, I found out that Capra said Weevil would never use a wheelchair, hence the medication/acne/weight gain. He said that at some fan convention held in the summer with other VM stars called "BE Blowout".

If you flip through the photos on IMDb, there's one of him as Weevil with a dyed red hair girl behind him on his motorcycle. Who is she? Upcoming character? Don't remember her from before, but Capra looks like his old self in the pic.
