I was thinking 2 shows and since The X-Files was already mentioned my other choice would be Millennium. this show deserves a better ending than that not so great X-Files ep. ending the show got.

resinrats 10-31-06 11:19 AM

Not possible but I thought A-Team should have had a reunion that ended up with them getting their pardon & they go back to freelance jobs without the army chasing them.

Scarecrow & Mrs. King where their marriage wasn't a secret and maybe Amanda's mother knows the truth.

X-Files for sure. What a crappy way to leave the characters.

Other people in my class brought up THE X-FILES as well as DEEP SPACE NINE.

The argument for X-FILES was that [the audience] wants to know more about the characters rather than the another new storyline, and thus they would prefier a 2/3-hour telefilm vs a theaterical run film.

It was mentioned that DEEP SPACE NINE was always the most overlooked of the STAR TREK series, and thus will probably never recieve a reunion film because a) it wasn't popular enough to become a theatrical-run, and b) the Star Trek producers would probably never allowed a telefilm...

I would have liked to see a Three's Company Reunion; but with most the cast being dead that's not likely to happen now.

Another vote for Buffy, Dark Angel and Tru Calling. Also add La Femme Nikita and Angel.

saved by the bell was the first thing that came to mind for me also. loved this show!

macgvyer would be pretty good too since he has been doing some tv commericals and everyone talks about him when someone pulls out a swiss army knife.

Red Dog 10-31-06 07:58 PM

UK Coupling about 5 years from now.

Jason 10-31-06 08:06 PM

Enterprise. Maybe they can kill a few more characters off.

FantasticVSDoom 10-31-06 08:28 PM

Second DS9 and maybe a Sex and the City in a few years...

clckworang 10-31-06 08:55 PM

The first show I thought was Arrested Development.

That's the one.

I forget how Wings ended, but that could be an interesting one if they left the door open. It would be more for how the actors would bounce off of each other after so much time has passed than anything, though.

I don't get this. I loved the show as much as the next DVDtalker but it had the perfect ending. Short of starting up the show again for a full season, I see no need to revisit these characters for such a brief amount of time that a special would allow.

I'm going on a limb and saying Seinfeld. Would they be different people after getting out of prison? Not likely, but I miss the great cast and chemistry they brought to television.

Jimmy James 10-31-06 11:46 PM

I think what I fear with Seinfeld is that they'd be tempted to either dial it up to 12 to make up for the (according to some) underwheming finale or would be determined to keep it intentionally very low key to stay in tone with the finale. Either way, I have a feeling they'd miss with it. It would be a really challenging reunion to execute compared to something like Friends, Andy Griffith, Dallas, and the like.

Northern Exposure I would like to see what those crazy characters are up to nowadays.

wings ended with Brian staying in nantucket to run the business for a year, while Joe & Helen went to Vienna so she could study music. it would make for a good reunion to see what happened.
