They give us 15 seconds of the robbery this episode?

Is this show trying to annoy its shrinking audience?

Well the end at least hinted that the story might get interesting, though I wouldn't bet on it, with the possibility it was an inside job.

And some say LOST is slow with their storylines!

Well... I'm hooked. I'm curious about what went wrong that put Lucas on
the other side and the connection he seems to have with Lizzie is interesting.

I like this show...the acting and the directing with the angle shots and flashbacks really has me hooked. Dont know why people want everything answered in one episode?

imo it isn't about answers. The show has a deliberate/slow pace, and the episodes are in no way self contained (even 24/Lost have an element of self containment) you just get to visit with the characters for an hour and maybe learn a thing or two about the overall picture. Sadly, it just isn't all that compelling to watch, despite the fantastic production value, solid writing, and good acting, theres just no element that pulls me in.

That said, last nights episode was an improvement. But ratings continue to slide.

I thought I was done with this show last week when I found the episode to be melodramatic and frankly, quite boring...but last night's was a snooze fest... now I'm really outta here.

Yikes, it was down another half million viewers this week, and then at the half-hour mark lost 2 million.

I'm thinking that ABC will be pulling the plug on this show pretty soon...

Maybe they'll shift it to Thursday nights to see if that helps. If people are going from Jericho to LOST, I can see how they might just not have patience for this show afterwards.

After last night, I actually halfway hope for the ax to swing. I love seeing Tim Daly, but this is no Eyes. Maybe his next show will be better.

They don't. Probably because those people aren't watching the advertisers' commercials, so it's a wash.

I quit as well. Wanted to like the show. Tried to like the show. Don't like the show.

I wish Eyes was still on the air

Many reviews kept calling it the "best new show", which is why I checked it out despite having little interest in the plot. I'm with you on all comments there, movieking.

Nielsen - the ratings people - recently introduced two new sets of ratings measurments to account for DVR households: Live + Same Day, and Live + 7.

Live + SD measures people who watched a show live or within 24 hours of it airing.

Live + 7 measures those who watched the show live or within a week.

However since there are relatively few DVR households so far, the ratings difference between Live and Live + 7 are minimal.

Dying like a grape on the vine. Agree with movieking that Eyes was much better.

My bet is The Nine doesn't come back from the hiatus imposed by Day Break's episodes.

Then again, maybe I'm wrong. According to this, 4 more scripts have been ordered for The Nine. Unfortunately that doesn't mean any more episodes will be shot; whatever meddling the suits have in mind may not result in a production order if they don't like the scripts.

But Day Break is taking over Lost's timeslot, not The Nine's.

i tried to like this for the first 3 episodes or so, but I never found out much about what happened, and why it was sucha big deal. Too much music and too many camera angles, just tell the story next time!
