'Something Weird' ON DEMAND

For those with Comcast ON DEMAND. Discovered they've added a new section under FREE MOVIES called WEIRD. Titles available, BLOOD FEAST, BLOODY PIT OF HORROR, FRANKENSTEIN'S CASTLE OF FREAKS, and several others. Noticed the Something Weird Video logo before the movie starts. Don't know about all of them, but watched HORRORS OF SPIDER ISLAND, and it was hosted by Elvira.

I don't have Comcast, but I'll check to see if it's also available through my cable company. It would be perfect because lately I've been craving cheapie exploitation horror movies!

I've also noticed that OnDemand has a section devoted to those cool Icebox.com web cartoons from a few years back.

Looks like Comcast is really doing VOD right.

I just wish they could do the same for their HDTV lineup.

Comcast is also adding FearNet (fearnet.com) to On Demand on 10/31.

They added it a couple months ago, although at the time all they offered were 1950s pr0n movies (the sort where seeing a stripper in her bra and panties was the big thing) and gory old drivers ed. films. Sounds like the lineup's improved.

"Improved"? Maybe. Last night I watched part of Frankenstein's Castle of Freaks with Boris Lugosi as "Ook" the neanderthal man. Mangled bodies pulled from smashed-up '57 Chevys would be a step up.

Well, I checked my OnDemand and realized that Time Warner doesn't offer any of those options, at least not in my area. I don't even think we have Comcast down here. I guess I'm missing out, too.
