It was his 40th question on the show, but that's just shocking to me. I guess he didn't take any sort of film class.
That must be the guy they were touting as the "mob champion", the person who was in the mob the longest. Saget mentioned that he was a lawyer that answered around 40 questions correctly. I hadn't noticed he got eliminated on that question.

Bumping again!

I guess the show is running out of steam, they had a "special episode" on last night.

Rather than the traditional contestant vs mob game, they had the mob play against each other. Former mob member Annie Duke played in the contestant spot, against a super mob. Rocket scientists, game show winners, Ken Jennings, Brad Rutter, etc. No mob helps. Last person left wins $250k. The questions seemed a little harder than normal play, but not much.

Spoiler:
Final five was Annie Duke, Jennings, two other "non-celebrity" guys and one woman. One of the guys won when the other four thought Henry the VIII had more wives than Larry King.

I wouldn't say it's running out of steam, necessarily. I like the "theme" shows. The mob full of kids was pretty cool.

In the "normal" segment that was on after the "last man standing" part, there were some Hawaiian Tropic girls as part of the mob. I'm 99% sure one of the girls who got eliminated was Cecile from "Beauty and the Geek." Anybody?

I thought it was her, too, when I was watching.

After reading your post, I decided to do some searching and, in fact, she is a Hawaiian Tropic girl.

Thanks for the research. Because of her, I now hate Hawaiian Tropic.
