It is actualy from Family Fortunes (the UK version)

One of the most talked about episodes of Family Fortunes involved a contestant (the late Bob Johnson) in the Big Money round using the word "turkey" for three answers in a row, causing the audience and Max Bygraves, who was the host at that time, to break down in laughter.

I can't find it on the internet - but someone may have it out there.

Great Clip. I bet you someone from his family whispered some good answers to him for that second round and he just got all confused.

I love this clip.

The rumor has always been that he somehow overheard the previous 'chicken' response and went in to the round expecting that 'turkey' would be an appropriate 2nd response.

And that really fits what we see. Turkey makes no sense at all for the 1st one, only vague sense for the 2nd, and hits the bullseye on the third. I think he had an answer locked into his brain and was in search of the question.

Still, yes, a pretty funny clip.



Actually, searching out that clip brings up a lot of funny sites listing answers from Family Feud. There's some pretty good ones out there.
