Ah, that would explain it -- I didn't scan down all the way to 4 AM.

Mods, please seek and destroy the thread I just created.

Yes, holy crap is a good way of putting it. This show is setting a new standard for the shark jumping. Honestly, that's what keeps me around at this point -- I want to see how far they can go.

As I mentioned in the thread I started (speculation based on no spoilers, but it's big speculation):

Spoiler:
I think they brought in Hagman because they're going to do a shower scene reset either at the end of this season or the start of next one.

and I thought Christian's dream was going to be he most fucked up thing in the episode after the opening

It's like the writers don't give a shit anymore and are just trying to top each other.

I read that they were trying to push the envelope this season. I say it has been shredded at this point.

This show has seriously become an absolute parody of what it once was, yet I'm still here, strangely enjoying every ridiculous turn this series takes. Bring on the mutated rat!

Disagree. This season has been as close to S1 as it has been inawhile. We are back to the internal struggle of Christian and Sean affected by the utter freakjobs around them.

Thematically yes. My comment was directed more at the decision to allow the writers to fully embrace their obvious propensity for one-upmanship and shark jumping so early on. Regardless, I'm still having a helluva lot of fun.

There is no "jumping the shark". This show has always used guest stars as part of its storytelling devices. That's half the fun, seeing actors outside their comfort zones. In fact, using Joan Rivers in the way they did was incredibly smart, and probably one of the best usage of a guest star that has been on TV in recent years.

I think it's a bad idea having two crazy, obsessed, nutjob women in one episode.

Besides I don't think the tatoo was bad at all. My wife has a "Property of DeputyDave" one.

I kind of dig thought of Brooke Sheilds being whored out to the general public.

I never thought I would see Larry Hagman and Brooke Shields sharing a scene together and ol' JR being the more passive of the too.

I dont think this season has been anywhere close to the quality of season 1.

It's absolutely ridiculous but at the same time the show I enjoy the most. It's just so much fun seeing this kind of fucked up stuff in an american tv-show!

By my count there were 3: Monica, Michelle and Faith

I don't think Michelle is a nutjob. Clearly, she's involved in something that is out of her control, but she's not crazy.

I thought you were going to defend Faith instead of Michelle!
