Of course this is one of the few new TV shows I decided to give a try and liked. And studios wonder why nothing catches on and so many TV shows catch fire on dvd. Everyone just wants to wait for dvd instead of risking too much time to a show and then watching it get canceled before it has a chance to root.
I have one friend who won't watch anything on TV until it gets released on dvd. He doesn't like wasting time on shows that may get cancelled during the middle of their initial run (like my wife who got screwed with that reunion show on Fox last year). He waited for Prison Break because he thought it certainly would be canceled in its first season. Then it got super-popular and he hated he missed it. Rented the dvds, caught up, watched the 2nd season so far and now he regrets ever watching the show.

Smith was better than that overrated Studio 60 show which the critics jerk off to. Bah...fuck TV. Too many movies I need to watch anyway. New seasons of South Park are all I need to survive.
