Help Me Help You needs to go away.
Veronica Mars is one the bubble, I would suspect.
Runaway is also dying on Monday.
Smith isn't wowing CBS.
Six Degrees needs to go away.
Standoff is really lucky to have House as a lead-in.
Brothers and Sisters is also just as lucky.

They just ordered a few more 'scripts' of Justice, they will air after the baseball season.
Also, Vanished is getting the switch of death:
This just means Fox believes in Justice and dislikes Vanished
.
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "Justice" may yet prevail at Fox, which has ordering three additional scripts of the struggling rookie legal drama starring Victor Garber.
The sleek, Jerry Bruckheimer-produced show, which takes a behind-the-scenes look at a different trial each week, has failed to sway the Nielsen jury so far, regularly finishing fourth in its Wednesday 9 p.m. slot.
It is pre-empted this week with a repeat of "House" airing in its time period.
Fox first gave an indication that it was willing to stick with "Justice" last week, when it decided to rebroadcast the generally well-reviewed show's pilot on Friday.
It is rumored that Fox is looking to find a new slot for the series when it returns to the schedule after the end of the network's postseason baseball coverage.

It is rumored that Fox is looking to find a new slot for the series when it returns to the schedule after the end of the network's postseason baseball coverage.
After the conclusion of its October postseason baseball telecasts, Fox is expected to change its schedule with major moves for some of its new dramas and one of its reality veterans.
Starting Oct. 27, the mystery drama "Vanished" is expected to move to Friday at 8 p.m. (ET) from its post-"Prison Break" slot on Monday at 9 p.m. The current time period holder, reality series "Nanny 911," will be benched.
The anticipated replacement for "Vanished" is the current Wednesday 9 p.m. legal drama "Justice." The network is considering what to schedule in the current "Justice" time slot.

My guess would be that a 2.x would likely mean no VM season 4, not a cancellation of the show. It does pair nicely with GG, and it's not like the CW had anything close to a decent development season.

This is how the CW is spinning the Veronica Mars ratings:
"GILMORE GIRLS" GAINS VIEWERS IN SECOND WEEK
"Gilmore Girls" Ranks Second in Women 18-34, Behind only "Dancing With The Stars"
"Veronica Mars" Retains More "Gilmore" Audience Than "Top Model" Lead-In A Year Ago in Key Demos
"Gilmore" and "Veronica" Combine to Win Tuesday in Teens and Female Teens
October 4, 2006 (Burbank, CA) - In its second week on The CW, "Gilmore Girls" built over last week's seventh season premiere by 140,000 viewers (4.62mil) and held 100% of its premiere audience in adults 18-34 (2.2/7), according to Live Plus Same Day National Nielsen ratings for Tuesday, Oct. 3.
Last night's "Gilmore Girls" climbed to second in the hour with its target demo of women 18-34 (3.4/10) behind only "Dancing With The Stars." "Gilmore Girls" ranked third from 8:00-9:00PM among women 18-49 (2.9/8).
The CW premiere of "Veronica Mars" retained more of its "Gilmore Girls" lead-in among adults 18-34 (77%, 1.7/5) and adults 18-49 (74%, 1.4/3) than "Veronica" did a year ago following "America's Next Top Model" on UPN.
With "Gilmore Girls" as its lead-in, "Veronica Mars" delivered its third highest-rated telecast ever among adults 18-34 (tie), its second best telecast ever in adults 18-49 (tie), and its fourth most watched episode ever (3.3 million) since its debut two years ago.
The CW's new Tuesday line-up of "Gilmore Girls" and "Veronica Mars" combined to win the night in teens (2.3/8) and female teens (3.5/12).

They could have had Everwood.

I think that new Joely Fisher/Brad Garrett show 'Til Death' won't be around for long...nobody seems to be watching and Brad Garrett has been acting like a diva refusing to perform unless script changes are made. Always a bad sign when a show doesn't have the ratings to back it up.

'Veronica Mars' is actually pretty lucky with their ' Gilmore Girls' lead-in and like creator Rob Thomas said over the summer - they needed to retain 66% of GG numbers to be say and they did that (barely though), so I think we'll atleast get the full season.
But for the other shows I see going soon:
- Vanished is already dead in the water
- 'Studio 60' might actually be a surprise cancellation because the ratings have steadily been going down, down, down
- 'Shark' & 'Smith' seem to not be doing well, which is good for me because it means 'Jericho' is safe (for now)...
- CW is hard to predict, but 'Runaway' is pulling in the worst numbers of any series on the network... but since they only have one series lined up for mid-season it should be interesting to see how they deal with it...
- As for 'Friday Night Lights', the numbers wheren't amazing, but NBC got demographics they havn't seen in years, which is what could have this series prevail over say 'Kidnapped'... but really 'Heroes' is the only safe show on the network at this point...

happy hour (fox) . It is already being replaced with repeats of Til Death which isn't saying much.
Studio 60. The rub against this show is that it is too inside baseball to carry viewers. Advertisers were apparently picking 30 rock over this show to survive. Ratings have fallen week over week and from the 1st half hour to the second. Not a good sign for such a heavily hyped show.
Smith isn't carrying enough of the lead in and dropped badly week over week.
I would say technically, Veronica Mars isn't a new fall show even though it really didn't do well leading out of GG.
I hope they don't cancel Friday Night Lights, as I enjoyed the episode.

Although the ratings for Studio 60 have not been stellar, they are still decent. But the show is one of the most expensive to produce and that could put it in major jeapordy. But that being said, NBC is trying to re-establish themselves as a quality network, and I doubt they would cancel this show for two reasons: 1) They have a relationship with Sorkin that they want to continue with, and to a lessar extent, Mathew Perry. 2) They have shown a recent willingness to continue with high quality, midling ratings show to improve the overall quality of the network (see The Office).
I see this show getting a full season from NBC to see if they've got something here.
Kidnapped is tanking though and I can see that being the first sacrificial Lamb for NBC.
I think Friday Night lights is safe for the season, its been a critical fave, and I don;t see NBC touching this show this year.
The other networks are in a different boat right now.
CW:
I doubt CW would can Runaway and V mars right away, they do not have enough in develepment right now. I see V Mars hanging on through the season or at least there 13 ep commitment and Runaway being axed by Dec.
ABC: Six Degrees is not long for this world, I see this going shortly, Men In Trees is actually a decent show, and is buried on Friday Nights, I don't see them axing this soon, as they must have not had high rating expectations for it there. brothers and sisters is a mess, but the ratings have been pretty good, they will trya nd fix this show in time before it completely implodes.
Fox: Fox has plenty of ammo coming in January, so Vanished, Til Death and Standoff are all on death watch. I think Justice has enough going for it, it's slick Bruckenheimer show, with a solid cast. If they put this show paired with Idol, House or 24 it would find it's audience, I have a hunch Fox will try and do this.
CBS: They have low tolerance for fledgling shows, (See Love Monkey), but right now, the ratings for Jericho, Shark and Smith have been decent enough. I think all of them hang on through the new year to see how they continue to shake out.

My sentiments exactly. What besides Gilmore Girls DOES get major numbers (even that isn't stellar for the big four)? Considering the limited viewership the CW has, they can't be terribly bummed about the show's viewership and as also pointed out - they have nothing in the pipe to replace it with - certainly nothing they should expect to do remotely as well at this point in the season!

Runaway is actually a really good show. The problem with it is the time it is on. With being up against:
Excellent Comedy (and the only one on at 9 on Mondays) 2 and 1/2 Men
Overhyped Sci-Fi Drama Heroes
Alias fan supported Justice (Plus has Prison Break lead in)
Reality favorite (The Bachelor)
Plus being on the bastard step-child network
