I wish I could say this show is a train wreck, but no train wreck has ever caused this much rubbernecking.
As incompetent, idiotic, and ridiculous as it is, I still...can't...turn...away |

maybe they're just going to slowly kill the other cons so they can eventually just focus on the brothers?

Bear in mind that Fincher killed Tweener because "They" told him to. Who is "They"?
1. The voices in his head? 2. The president's vast conspiracy? 3. The Others? Also, it seems that while Fincher flips to Evil, they're going to have the secret service guy (Paul?) flip to Good. |
I forgot about Kellerman. We didn't get the "save the day" payoff with Tancredi yet, did we?
Pretty hard to flip Paul to Good after the stuff he's done, but it does look like they're going to try. It's definitely helped that Patricia Wettig moved on. I like her as an actress, but the VP/Prez character was absolutely dreadful. Reggie Lee's go-between character is more interesting. das |
No, they just showed her by the drugs and then a shadowy figure behind her.
They'll probably flip him to a good guy, then she'll chose Michael over him thus sending him back to bad guy mode and there's season 3. |

Also, am I the only one who thinks that Sucre isn't interested in stealing the money, but turning the rest of them in in order to get a better deal for himself? He flipped out right after the cop was talking to him, so it seemed to me that he's now interested in at least possibly having a future relationship with his kid as she grows up. |
probably sucre and michael have a deal going
|
I thought Fichtner was going to chanel his character in "Go" when he was looking at Tweener at the end of the episode before he decided to inflict some personal justice.
|
I think Sucre and Benjamin have some kind of a plan, remember they rode in together on the motorcycle. They could have worked up a plan to grab all the money for themselves. It just makes me think when Sucre came in and and told everyone to drop everything, Benjamin had a grin on his face.

Tweener deserved what he got just for being a douchebag. Imagining him as K-Fed really does make it feel all the better.

My favorite line of the night -- T-Bag "That photo makes me look like a sociopath!" :D

I also liked "Johnny KKK here is going to have an Asian hand!" |

I thought that this was an odd coincedence as well. How did Tweener find out her address anyhow? |
Have any of you seen the photo of the murderer they killed after a high speed police chase in Florida a day or two ago? He looks like he could be T-bag's brother. It's disturbing. I wonder if I can hunt down a photo...
ETA: http://www.wric.com/Global/story.asp?S=5490196 Okay, maybe not brother. They do seem to have the same barber, though. |

------- Like others have mentioned, I like that they aren't afraid to kill off characters, but at the rate they are going I don't know if there will be anyone left standing for season 3. So far they have killed 3 major characters, virtually written out Stacy Keach, Wettig and the brother, and the only significant additions to the cast have been Fincher and the new SS point man. Also, flipping agent Paul to good is going to be quite a feat to pull off, but what I would buy is Paul keeping Sarah alive for his own purposes. I got the feeling in his last conversation that perhaps he was becoming a loose end. Which reminds me, I was worried about how they would keep Sarah involved in the show, but I think they have done a pretty good job positioning her in the 'outside/conspiracy/B story' role from last year. Even though they quite literally cut out Tunney's role with a machete for Sarah to fill, it doesn't seem too forced. |
SuperFBI guy killing Tweener didn't really jibe with his character.

My fanwank is that he got it off her car registration, intending to write to her once he got away. Hell, she could have had a Mapquest printout of driving directions in her car or something. I'd hardly call it uncommon to write down the address of where you're going when you're driving somewhere. I dunno, maybe I'm too lenient about this sort of thing, but for me, as long as there's a reasonable explanation for something, then they don't really need to show every last detail, which is why I seem to be in the non-nitpicking minority. Hell, the biggest nitpicky thing I noticed recently was the soft-serve machines in the Dairy Queen being filled up and on before they opened last week. I've worked in places with those before, and they're always cleaned out and turned off when they close. |
Where's Bellick? Still tied up in that shack?

From Michael Ausiello at TV Guide:
Prison Break is going through Maricruzes like I go through cases of Diet Raspberry Snapple! As I teased in this week's Ask Ausiello, PB producers have recast the role of Sucre's romantically conflicted girlfriend for the second time in a year. Six Feet Under alum Melissa Marsala has been tapped as Maricruz No. 3, replacing Maricruz No. 2, Camille Guaty, who escaped to star on ABC's The Nine. Considering that Maricruz No. 1, Nadine Velazquez, split for a regular role on My Name Is Earl, it's probably a safe bet that a big network show is in Marsala's future. (I hereby nominate J.Lo for Maricruz No. 4!) In the meantime, look for M3 to debut shortly after PB makes its post-World Series return on Oct. 23. Frakkin' baseball. Didn't they also re-cast the hot Latina chick on Arrested Development? |
Nadine Velazquez only shot one scene for the pilot before leaving. The scene was reshot with her replacement before it aired.
