Kill Bill on TNT, 9/15/06

Oh man, I didn't see that this was on. And yeah, it's more than 10 minutes long.

"My name is Buck, and I'm here to party."

"party wagon" the anime scene is cut to hell, we still hear the splatter sound effects but we don't see any of the splatter. Will be interesing to see how the whole "house of blue leaves" scene is handled. the movie is 2 hours and 10 minutes on tnt, so only about 25 minutes of commercials... right, they're probably have to cut a scene or 2 down some.

wow, watching the house of blue leaves scene, and its funny as hell as to whats ok and whats not (the eye pull was shown as is as was the axe to the stomach. but most of the spray shots are cut out. also the sound editing is really bad as you'll hear the blood spraying down but on a different shot.

pt will probably be played mostly uncut with the exception of editing the language, and a few possible shots in the elle driver fight in the trailer home.

I can't be bothered watching movies on broadcast TV. With the edits & commercials, it's infuriating.

TNT likes to call 480p HD.

which part? I noticed that when go go stabs the one guy the subtitle says "do you want to screw me" while the real line is "do you want to fuck me" but there is no audio edit since it was in a different language.

also, i am surprised that they have left the whole rock salt dialogue in tact (madsons character mentions that she has no tits)

I think Tarantino is more to blame for that than TNT.

Yep, I'm with you there, especially when you're talking about a movie like this. Why even bother?

actually, I think he says how, not having tits himself, he wonders how much it must sting to have such amazing ones as hers blasted with rock salt.

I watched a few minutes just to see what was edited. I couldn't believe it was airing on TNT.

I almost cried laughing at the "Party Wagon".

Also, it looked like the reverted to black and white during much of the "House of Blue Leaves" scene.

I caught a little of both Bills the last few days. When Bill says "You can be a real c**t sometimes" they dubbed in "sore head" or something to that extent.

The horrible 'hd' on TNT-HD was NOT Kill Bill's fault.

ALL HD on TNT-HD looks like shit. I laugh when cable companies consider it an HD channel.
