Yep. I'm sure most actors would take the "Black Vulcan" job if it paid the bills.

Hmmm - going from a bad UPN show to an ABC soap. Sounds like a step up if you ask me.

You realize John de Lancie (Q) started in soaps right? I believe Kate Mulgrew did some in the past.

Yeah, but Tim Russ is doing it backwards. Normally you start in soaps and move on to better things, like feminine hygiene commercials and paid programming about natural cures they won't tell us about.

If there's no drink called a "Black Vulcan" I'll have to invent one.

Robert Picardo has been a regular guest star on both Stargate shows for a while now.

This just in: actors sometimes portray more than one character in order to get paid. More at 11.

Which one was Robert Picardo? That little dog bartender, felix or something? I remember seeing Bashir in Kingdom of Heaven. But then again, DS9 and Voyager don't really compare.

Well, that's hardly a big deal. If you wanna pull that card, how about Julianne Moore on As the World Turns?

Maybe he's tired of nailing chicks dressed as Klingons and wants some housewife action?

Robert Picardo played one of the few bright spots of Voyager, the holo-Doctor.

We saw him at the ST convention in Chicago last weekend, and he is a very funny guy. He and Ethan Phillips (Neelix) did a very funny cabaret that reprised their characters for a new Voyager story.

Hey, I just did a podcast with Tim a few weeks back and he never mentioned GH. He is going to be a recurring character on the sitcom 20 GOOD YEARS...asumming it lasts, of course...it doesn't look very good.

Roxann Dawson and Robert Duncan McNeill currently do a fair amount of directing for various television series.

And not just average journeyman stuff either. Both of them have done some fine directing work in recent years, most recently Roxie's direction on "The Long Con".

Check out his IMDB page. Looks like he's had a nice long career as a working actor. Not a star by any means, but looks like he's never had much trouble making a living.
