I know the tattoos are just a storytelling device but for the lif of me I can't seem to understand why Micheal wouldn't remember where the bridge was with the loosened nuts.

umm, why do we need to see that? Bellick SAID that's what he did. Did you miss that line? He turned to the other guard and said something like "I told you the whore would lead us right to them".

He's not there to pick them up, he just went to the house to see if the wife would be on board with his plan (by turning on the porch light). He's most likely planning on getting to Utah, grabbing the money, and picking them back up in a week. I doubt he'd try and make the dash to the money with his wife and kid in tow.

Seriously, Michael hid the body parts under the trunk before he went to prison, back when he rigged the car to blow up if the radio was tuned to 103.5. You know -- just in case he ever needed to needed to fake his death on Route 81.
Also, we don't even know if those were real body parts. They could have just been some fairly good reproductions. Basically something that would look convincing enough after it had been blown apart to fool whoever was cleaning up the mess. He knew that whatever tests were done on the remains would show that it wasn't them, but he mentioned that that would give them enough of a lead to get away.

I know the tattoos are just a storytelling device but for the lif of me I can't seem to understand why Micheal wouldn't remember where the bridge was with the loosened nuts.
Perhaps there was more than one bridge that looked like that along that stretch of road? He could just have easily put a "4" for "the fourth bridge" or something, but either way, it's the same reason that he put "Ripe Chance Woods", "Cute Poison", or any of the other words on there, to remind himself later on about the details. Just because he's a good planner doesn't mean that he'll be able to remember every single detail of his plan, especially when on the run.

They were vacuum sealed. Come on -- don't you think Michael thought about these things?

Section 2 of the 25th Amendment: "Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress."

I think that's what happened here, but I'm little fuzzy on what all happened in Season 1 regarding this plotline.

Very good episode. The brothers were enjoyable to watch and Mahone just keeps getting better. I wonder who this "Oscar" dude is and why he causes Mahone to pop his pen pills like crazy.

I'm waiting to see if Michael will show us a tattoo out on his ass because he's running out of space.
I've got my fingers crossed.

I wonder if Kellerman is keeping an eye on Sara because she's suspected in helping the cons escape or if it's just because her father's going to be the VP soon.

The governor had been meeting with the then-VP, who had convinced him not to stay Lincoln's execution. I imagine that the VP appointment is what he gets in return.

why does anyone bother nitpicking this show apart? you're not supposed to think while watching PB, which makes it the best show on TV.

On the contrary, I would say that mocking the show's ridiculousness is most of the fun!

When I saw them, I thought, "I didn't know you could get body parts at Costco."

Certainly the case with both this and 24.

On the contrary, I think the first season was all about thinking. Intelligent writing, logicality. This season so far has been a piece of shit. If you feel you don't need to think while watching the show, then you're probably trying to shield yourself from the glaring implausibilities.

I think you watched a different first season from the one I did. The first season I watched was just as ridiculous as this one. Don't get me wrong -- it's a very enjoyable show -- but it's as much a comedy as it is a drama.

While I agree the show has never been Emmy level, the first season was better than anything we have seen so far this year.

I did laugh at loud when Sucre drives all the way out New York and the guy tells "I tried to tell you on the phone-- the wedding is in Vegas!"

It's 2,500 miles from NYC to Vegas. At the earliest, Sucre hit NY on Thursday and the wedding is on Saturday. Think he'll make it to Vegas in time to stop the wedding?
