Help with the title of an 80's western/sci-fi show

I'm trying to remember the name of a tv show. It was on in the 80's, and as far as I can remember, the plot revolved around a bunch of cowboys who were transported through time to the present day. They became kind of like an A-Team group of vigilantes, if memory serves. I believe their time travel had some kind of explanation involving an Indian burial ground or something similar.

Anyone remember this show or am I going nuts?

YES! I remember that show too. I was a kid at the time but I remember them getting sent into future day Texas and getting terrified by an airliner flying over. Infact this is the first show I thought of when I read the thread title. I can't remember the name though so it's off to IMDB.

Wow. Shannen Doherty was in it. Did she get fired from that show too?

I seem to remember the transported cowboys opened up a detective agency or something and it just became another lame detective show.

That's the one.

I knew I wasn't crazy.

I'm also not saying it was a great show, I'm just saying I remembered it...

Hey, it was the 80s, that's what people did.
  • You had a superfast computer-car? You solved crimes.
  • You had a superfast computer-helicopter? You solved crimes.
  • You were a wanted fugitive, and were on the run with a con man, a lunatic and a large, mohawked sociopath? You solved crimes.
  • You were a computer-created being of pure light with the ability to create physics-defying vehicles? You solved crimes.
It was the 80s, that's what we did. That's why there was no crime left when the 90s came around, so everybody had to be in sitcoms.

I never saw this show, but it sounds great.

Quotes:
[While gearing up for battle, every episode.]
John Grail: Let's do it.
Wolf: Amen!
Ice: Slow and easy...
Harland: ...but all the way.
Billy: To the hilt.
How is it that this classic isn't on DVD?
