Big Brother 7 week four thread
 

Onto week four. Sov4 has been unstopable. I know some think it's boring but I'm still enjoying seeing them reign over the house.

Storys of the week:
Diane and Danni continue to be invisible.
What's up with Danni and Jase?
James admits to his alliance with Danni.
Is Janni getting played or doing the playing?
Will continues his mastery of the game and isn't leaving the house anytime.
Erika and Marcellas seem to just be along for the ride.

Will is playing everyone and it is wonderful. Boogie may be a cheesy guy, but if he takes the target of Will, then that's wonderful. The longer he stays, the longer Will stays, cause Boogie is pissing off so many people. Is it true he has a pre-show alliance with Erika? What's with them in bed? Could get interesting. I must say I liked Will from day one of the first season with him, and last year I liked Kaysar, Janelle, James, etc.., but I'm rooting for Will and probably James second. I still like those guys, but they are a little too confident. I think if one or two of them goes in the next few weeks, it will make the game more interesting and the surviving ones more likable again. I predict if the four are all still there in 2 weeks, they will get a little too cocky and a lot of fans will start to dislike them. I'm liking Marcellus too. Hmmm. I guess I like a bunch of these people, but Will is by far my favorite. Intersting to see in the show last night how he is an introvert outside of the house.

I think it's funny that the producers made an HoH contest that seemed to be designed to knock Season 6 out of power, yet they still won. I say designed to knock S6 out because only three of them could compete and they could have been handpicked out. Clearly, Erika and Marcellas are either afraid of S6 or they consider themselves aligned with them, I don't know. Marcellas of course knocked out Kaysar once he had no choice. I think this was a good strategic move for him, though. It helped erase some loyalty doubts from the Jase callout. Although I don't see the feeds so I don't know what the real situation is.

Diane and Boogie were useless, Danielle probably stayed out of it on purpose, and only Will took a real shot a S6 -- of course it was Howie, the least likely to get bent out of shape about it, smart.

I actually think Boogie is hurting Will at this point. Will would be in great shape as a 'powerless' floater (he's already trying to craft the 'powerless' image). But Boogie's ego is keeping him from that goal.

What is with everyone's love for season 6. This season is boring

Could someone possibly give a recap of the "Puppet Tub Theatre" with a certain HG? And what happened with Erika to make folks feel bad?

What does "make it to sequester mean"?

AKA the Danielle rule, the sequester house. The HG's that have a vote on the winner (can't remember the exact number) Go to a house together until the end of the show. They can't watch tv, exept for select videos of in house activities that BB sends them. They don't want them to be swayed by seeing DR confesions on TV or watching live feeds.

They also keep getting paid for that entire time.

And the bigger question?

The whole thing is starting to come apart. For those who wanted a shake up, I'm guessing this week will be the time.

For me, now that Janie has gone insane, I really don't like anyone on this show.

These are a bunch of insufferable people. Even as entertaining as Will can be, he's still so annoying. James never stops talking, Howie is always saying "Love ya, Janie" or "Love ya, Erika" and when anyone says something about the game, Howie always needs it to explained to him again. Dani is good but her game play really makes her look bitchy, Kaysar is a downer who overthinks everything, Diane is whiny and uninteresting, Erika is boring, Marci is only there hoping to turn Kaysar gay, Boogie is an arrogant prick, CG is Chicken George and I think the whole house is the nerd herd part 2.

The only ones getting the last laugh are the ones who didn't go and weren't chosen.

I thought, when Janie won HOH, this would be a good week, but it's all gotten worse. Maybe it's because I'm 38 and a dad now, but I can't imagine being any of these people. When my 1 month expires, I'm done...no matter who's in the game.

Bring on the good stuff...Lost, Veronica Mars, and Gilmore Girls.

PS-The have gone to flames more often than I ever remember. That might be ok for some, but when you only get to come on and check every so often and you find you're getting flames or all 4 feeds on one room, WTF is with that? Why would they ever have to put all 4 feeds on one room? When they're out partying, they gave us nothing but a shot of a room inside and you could hear people having fun and being entertaining outside. I'm glad that I paid for that.

Yes, Big Brother is a sad experiment on human nature gone wrong.

and the live feed tends to suck when you are on the east coast. They are up when I'm asleep, and then they sleep till 3 in the afternoon. I cant seem to catch anything good.

Just finished watching Thursday's show and am very happy to see Janie win HOH again. Boogie is a jackass. It's amazing how BB is not showing exactly how BIG an ass he is, but he still comes off as a dipshit. He reminds me of those dipshit guys in high school who would glom onto the popular guys and then would make complete asses of themselves trying to show how they were just as cool and just as irresistable as the popular guy and would eventually come to believe they actually were.

I hope chilltown and the rest of the floaters can take down season 6, they have been nothing but a bunch of cocky assholes who deserve to be put in there place. I think this show will have that turn around because janelle is really that stupid to fall for Will and it will backfire on her.

on a side note from last week, what do you guys think of chase comments that he was meant for survivor?

Couldn't have described Boogie better myself. That was spot on. I just can't stand him! He thinks he is so clever and always thinks he and Will are so in control. News flash! Friends outside the house or not, Boogie is the perfect person for Will to have an alliance with because everyone is going to want to get the total asshole out before they set their sights on Will.

I was surprised at Janelle's nominations. I don't think she has totally fallen for Will, but he definitely swayed her. It would have been much smarter to put Will up with Boogie. As someone else said, even if one wins the veto, they could still vote the other one out.

Thing is, he hasn't gotten kicked out yet after 1 and 1/3 season, while so called masterminds like Kaysar (the worst player of all time) got kicked out twice last year and is probably gonna get kicked out in the next few weeks.

Will's plan obviously works for him.

I think Will's plan is brilliant, really. He plays the game in a fearless manner. He's going to manipulate you till no end, but at the end of the day, he really doesn't care. And at the same point, he does. So while he's manipulating you, he'll say, "well, if you don't trust me, send me home this week." I saw him working Janelle on the feeds. It eventually gets to you and you think, "hey, this guy really doesn't care and isn't as much a threat as I thought."

Not so much interesting when you KNOW that he really doesn't care this time. I mean, winning would be great, but, in general, he's got a great life outside the house, so it does make him less interesting and more annoying this time around.

Face it, while happiness isn't guaranteed, he leaves this game and goes back to making a fortune giving really vain LA types their botox treatments. He can play the game like he doesn't care and really mean it.

The last time around, he was just in school. Winning the game meant a whole lot more. Heck, winning the game probably helped him with everything he's done in medicine. He's a mini-celeb and I'm sure that played a factor when the old man he's working for and will take over for hand picked him to work at his office.

Still, the worst part is that CBS let all these people get together, hang out, and make plans, and who knows what else before the show began. To me, you might as well just rig the game...which BB probably does to a certain extent. If Survivor did this kind of thing, it would be a scandal. Will has been using the idea of sharing his winnings with his alliance and even if that's just talk, that would be taboo talk on any other reality show. You think if Will or Boogie wins, that they won't give the other a nice taste? Also, Will talks about things CBS promised him before the show started to get him to agree to leave his lucrative practice for possibly 3 months. That included making sure Boogie got on the show. I believe Will on this totally, because I don't think he'd have done this without some promises made on the side. Probably more than we'll ever know about.

This whole season has just sucked.

^^^ I remember there was a lot of talk about alliances set up before Surivor: All-Stars. In fact, I'm pretty sure there were alliance already established before the game started. I don't doubt the conditions Will might have put on CBS for playing the game, most notably allowing Boogie into the house. There is no other reason in the world to include Boogie in a game called Big Brother: All-Stars.

But I will take a contrary view from most of the others here. I am actually really enjoying this season. I realized within the first few eps how much I missed some of the contestants that were brought back, like Danielle, Marcellas, Janelle, Will. They may not all be likable, but I have fun watching them. Anyway, it's not like there is too much else to watch during the summer, so I just sit back and enjoy it.
