It' seems to me that with S6's behavior that Will's going to win it all again. I would not be surprised in the least. And he's finding it hilarious as it's happening. I really don't know if it's because he's so smart, or if everyone else is so stupid.

I agree with DRG's post about James's griping...James had the perfect opportunity to dismantle ChillTown when George took himself off. He could have let emotions in the house simmer down, put up Boogie, and at least one of them would be gone. He has no one but himself to blame.

And as far as Kayser: This whole "forcing the floaters to choose a side" strategy? Look how well that is going  Yet they keep going down that road every week...unbelievable. S6 is sealing their own fate.

chowderhead 08-01-06 03:03 PM

I've been reading the threads and watching the show off and on but it seems to me that ChillTown is just two people really - Will and Boogie. The floaters would probably go after Season6 because there are four of them so it would seem me, Seaon6 would get rid of the people they preceive to be the biggest physical/mental threat to win HOH. Will doesn't win HOHs and Boogie is not really that physical .. so I can kind of see the logic. Still, since I am rooting for Willl to win it again, I hope, he continues to get into people's heads and makes it to the end.

clckworang 08-01-06 03:28 PM

I think Season 6's plan is smart, but it's too smart, if that makes any sense. It's like they have had way too much time to think about it because they have nothing to do in the house so they have come up with something too complex. They should keep it simple. Chilltown is a threat, therefore take out Chilltown. Instead, they are trying to anticipate everyone's feelings about Chilltown and Season 6, who the floaters might want to nominate, etc. The truth is, most of the time, the contestants keep things relatively simple, i.e. who's the biggest threat. Sticking with that, I think the others are most likely to attack Season 6. I just think Season 6 is overthinking everything.

Patman 08-01-06 03:42 PM

This is why I just smile silently when I read the hate coming from the Will-haters. Will is simply fun to watch, moreso than anyone else inside that house this summer. It was the same way in BB season 2 as well. He just "gets" the game, and the 24/7 aspect of playing a character while in the house.

magiccmom 08-01-06 04:00 PM

Will is amazing to me, because he invented his own character. It seems like he could be scripted, but he is not. His I dont want to be here, I hate you all, I'm bored to tears attitude..leaves everyone guessing if it is an act or not. And I dont get the idea of a "floater"...you either play the game by out and out screwing everyone over and not hiding it, or you are nice to everyone and screw them over secretly. There are no floaters. If by floaters you mean not sure where their alliances are, then you can say that about everyone, since they are all lying and double scheming anyway.

well there hasn't been any "floating" yet this season because the S6 alliance has won HOH every week. A "floater" is a player that is not aligned with any alliance, but will side with one alliance one week, and the other one the next week, so they are basically whittling down both sides so that they are left at the end (they float back and forth between alliances as it suits them). This strategy has been very successful in some seasons, hence the S6 alliance, IMO, are right to be scared of the floaters. They are a bigger threat right now than Chilltown which only has 2 members.

I still see them all as floaters though. The fact that S6 has not lost a HOH is only a technicality keeping them from floating back and forth between sides.

clemente 08-01-06 06:40 PM

Floater=see Marcellus as soon as S6 loses an HOH competition.

magiccmom 08-01-06 08:28 PM

Thank you Janelle...YOu just assured that the game got interesting.

CaptDS9E 08-01-06 09:13 PM

It will be really funny to see what happens if James, Danielle, or chilltown wins HOH thursday.

Timber 08-01-06 09:20 PM

Yup, Janelle just made the game exciting. I'm not happy with her screwing Diane.

dolphinboy 08-01-06 10:10 PM

With Diane and Allison gone early, Lisa over Chicken George is looking better every minute.

Not to take ANYTHING away from Will's manipulative skills, but if you're only watching the tv show and not the feeds, Will and Boogie did have one other thing going for them.

Janelle was already in deep shit. I admire her for recognizing it, even if it sucks that she had to lie.

Will might think he was talking her into thinking she was going to be the next target and needed some protection, but she was. Janelle was going to be plan A for pretty much anyone other than Howie, Kaysar, and Marci. Even James would have been hoping that Dani won HOH to take her out for him.

Janelle might not be able to count on Boogie and Will for protection for even a week, although I think they will keep their promise because it would help them to have her as a big target, but while she turned on her alliance, her alliance had already crumbled and it's easy to bitch like James did when you're not the one people are gunning to get out.

Kaysar has not had his head in the game and isn't a very good player to begin with, Howie is REALLY dumb and of no help, and James had set up another alliance weeks ago. Maybe before he stepped inside the house. Everyone in that house sees Janie as the biggest threat or the person that gets more attention than they do. She was clearly under Will's spell, but I don't really think she had a better option.

Oh, and no one liked that movie. CBS kind of surprised me by giving us that tiny moment after the film where you could see no one was even smiling. They were all talking about who could do the best job lying about it in the DR. Obviously, Dani did the best job.

BDLOU 08-01-06 10:26 PM

I thought it was hilarious that James made it sound like he fell on a sword for the team by trying to get CG out and then going to Jase when that fell through. All he did was get thru the HOH without pissing anyone off. James was looking for something to get him out of that alliance anyway. I hope Chill Town wins HOH next week and puts him and Kaysar up and then send James home.

magiccmom 08-01-06 10:31 PM

I was reallllly surprised when Howie called Janelle out, but asking her what she was drinking when she denied not wanting Diane or Erika to win POV. He has kahunas after all.
And Janelle should have just not answered any of the words, and then she wouldnt have had to have that bad acting job...ohhhh, here Diane, I dont know what I'm doing! That was sooo freakin obvious...if you want Boogie to win, then just dont buzz in.

Boot 08-01-06 10:33 PM

I might be remembering incorrectly, but didn't James WANT to put up Will or Boogie in CG's place, but the alliance talked him into nominating Jase instead?

Will was already up against CG..and when he got the power of Veto, they wanted him to put Boogie up. But he didnt do it either, although getting Jase out was just as good as getting ChillTown out. Kaysar didnt put any ChillTown up either so they all are to afraid of Chilltown, I guess.

I think Janie made her biggest mistakes in not rallying her base. That and because she acted so afraid all week hiding in the HOH room really made a dent in my impression of her as a player. But maybe she'll make it up.

Even if she had to "play" Kaysar and Howie, she should have been poisoning the well with them about James and Danielle and letting them know that she was making a decision not to align with Chill town (which would have been the lying part) but to do what she needed to do to get out someone who was after her. K and H would have bought that Diane was a really threat to Janie (they sort of believed that to begin with) and with a good sales job, she could have had them totally on board with what she was doing so she didn't have to keep them in the dark about POV and everything else. Howie's so dumb, he would have gone along with anything and, at least, not spilled the beans about what Janie told him to do.

They have talked about James planning something evil, but this was the week to make HIM out to be the snake and forcing Janie to change things up and that's where Janie might have been able to have her deal with CT, not take any risks with Howie and Kaysar, and, most importantly, focus the 3 "good" members of S6 against James.

Bluelitespecial 08-02-06 12:11 AM

I hope Will or boogie wins the game, they are the most entertaining thing about this show. Their mock phone calls in the confessional room are hilarious.

sabre 08-02-06 06:33 AM

James is a jerk. he nominated chicken george, chicken george!!! and he is complaining about Janelle's nomination, what a jerk. James is going to break up the season six alliance that has been keeping him safe because Janelle nominated someone in his suballiance. This tells me james is more loyal to danielle, and has been just waiting for an excuse to break away from the season 6 alliance. What an idiot, isn't he trying to win the game. i could understand in public acting annoyed about the nomination so he won't get nominated if a floater gets head of household but to go against season six, James is an idiot. James works as sometype of insurance investigator, so you now he has no consciousness and loyalty and is an idiot.
Will and Danielle are the best players in the the game''s history. they have completely different style's, one obvious the other subtle but they are the best players. i would have gotten rid of both of them by now. I hope James doesn't win and despite her being a great player i still think of danielle as under handed, at least will is honest about being a snake while danielle acts like a friend and then bites your head off.

I didn't watch anything before Season 5. So I have been enjoying Will and his game this season.

Heck, the DR spots with Will and Boogie having a "phone call" are some of the funnies DR bits ever.

Arpeggi 08-02-06 08:17 AM

"Nominate floaters to force them to choose a side". Yeah they will all choose to side against you. Kaysar is such an idiot.

Arpeggi 08-02-06 08:19 AM

And James should shut the hell up, he wanted to get rid of Chicken George last week...

I would recommend watching BB Season 2. Will is amazing, the guy was born to play this game.

Are the previous seasons of BB out on DVD?

Like Vryce, I started watching during Season 5.

And I seriously think we should create 2 BB threads. One that discusses the shows after they air and the other one that discusses the live feeds. I couldn't read anything spoiled in this thread, which was fine.

But one of the the headers had 'POV Shocker' so I pretty much knew that Boogie had probably won the POV. If all the live feed information were in a seperate thread, then I think things would flow more naturally.

What do others think?

Chris

I prefer them being all in one thread, but no one should "title" their spoilers. I really hate the titles of the threads. "Week 4"? I can't remember what week they are on.

It should be "Big Brother 7 Week of 07/30/06" for discussion of everything from right after the Thurs show, until the next Thur show. (Or something like that)
