Yup. I really expected him to be the second "hero" cut.

He got cut tonight only for Lee to bring him back as the show's "super villain."

You know what? I like this show. It's silly but it KNOWS it's silly. I for one like the idea of a reality/gameshow that tries to select a winner that has the best qualities a person could have (all the ideal superhero traits like honesty and such.) I'm sick to death of the backstabbing and "let's form an alliance!" BS.

Sure some of the characters suck but Major Victory is just pure awesomeness.

Oh and I'm not surprised the gay guy got cut within the first show's opening minutes. Incredibly stupid characters but they're female and "hot" so they stay. Whatever.

Sorry, but I have to give a big to the new costume for Lemuria, covering up her two most obvious superpowers. Maybe the producers were afraid those puppies were going to break loose during a challenge? Great response from Major Victory: "Look at me! I have shiny pants!"

So this is going to run another 4 weeks or so? With 2 eliminations an episode, it can't go much longer.

Caught the rerun and the new episode tonight.
I thought it was enjoyable, and I like that it seems to move pretty fast. (2 elims)

I'll tune in next week.

I don't care what they put on her. I want her to have my children!

This show may be the guiltiest of pleasures, but I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Turning Iron Enforcer into a super villian was brilliant!

This is turning into my favorite summer show. Fat Momma throwing doughnuts at the attack dogs had me rolling.

I couldn't stop laughing at that whole sequence. The bad acting got me started...and by the time the van started rocking I had tears streaming from my eyes.

My four-year-old loves this show, so I'll stick with it.

My friend had me watch both episodes last night....it's pretty bad but somehow watchable enough although I was shaking my head quite a bit. The series really has a staged feel to it.

They could have at least explained more of what superpowers each of them has. I have no idea what "Creature" does...maybe she screws the villans to death....can't believe she didn't get cut yet.

ha ha, tyveculus' costume was awful. and actually, the feather wasn't that bad... it was the open-faced helmet and shoulder pads. if his original helmet had a feather on it, it would still look good.

nice ending, turning enforcer into a super villain, especially that it was done in a back alley... let's see what he does as a villain. it looks like he may just heckle the heros.

i still love major victory.

Like with the "no killing" thing, I don't get why Stan Lee thinks its "unsuperhero-like" to be a smart-ass and make fun of people/things that are crying out to be made fun of. You can't tell me Spiderman wouldn't have had a snarky comment or two after seeing Ty's new costume. And Marvel groups like X-Men, Fantastic Four, and the Avengers cut each other up all the time. In the day, the X-Men couldn't go a few pages without making fun of Wolverine for being short and/or hairy.

Yes, this is really staged-feeling. I wouldn't be surprised if very little of it is actually "reality". It's especially suspicious when you consider that half the cast has previous imdb acting credits (though all of them are listed just with their "regular" jobs). I don't really mind. It's entertaining me, and it seems to be moving at a brisk pace. I'd just like a little more superhero challenges, and less cliche reality series drama (it seems a waste to have the elimination sessions take up a third of the show). The dog attack was a good challenge. Huge advantage for the guys, but its more about how they compete rather than the final result. Though it makes Iron Enforcer's quitting even worse.

i was watching America's ot Talent the other day, and i SWEAR i saw Creature in the crowd, waiting to perform.

oh, and i agree about the "making fun of someone". feedback shouldn't have been up there for making fun of him (all kinds of marvel heroes do that - DC, too (Flash, anyone?)), he should have been up there because it was a HORRIBLE joke.

I couldn't believe that the Iron Enforcer gave up so close to the door. He walked all the way to the door, fell down and promptly cried uncle. That made me think it was scripted so that he would be up for elimination and become the super villian.

And what was Cell Phone Girl's power? Maybe she would just call 911 when someone needed saving.

Nudes of Creature on her site http://tonyakay.com/
More artistic than porn.

some info about the characters...

http://www.darkhorse.com/news/interviews.php?id=1331

liked this about major victory:

He doesn't have hearing in his left ear so if someone walks up on his left side he is startled. Also, he is lactose intolerant--and his enemies know this.

Only two. From my TiVo, it looks like next Thursday is a three hour mini-marathon starting at (I think) 6:00 CST. You should be able to completely catch up then.

10 minutes with those dogs.

Major Victor cracks me up.

ok finally saw the second episode I agree with the iron enforcer bit. I was impressed by major victory walking all the way and monkey women was incredible to last almost 10 minutes and still do it.

After three episodes, I have come to realize that this is an effective parody of reality TV. Every single element of it is not only faked, but so ridiculously acted that it could only serve as a parody and it is very funny.

Look at the cat fight scene between Lemuria and Fat Momma, did anyone for a second believe that there was real animosity. The faked emotion and hugs when a member leaves is even more hilarious. This was probably shot over 3 days. I bet they never even slept in the beds they show.

My vote is for Feedback.

The expressions on Feedback's face are simply hilarious. Whenever there is any "event" his overacting makes me bust up. This is truly a funny show.

I'm surprised I'm still watching this, but I am (never watch "reality" shows). If I call it a guilty pleasure can I justify it that way?

Okay, this whole thing about the "heroes" thinking that they're actually walking across a suspended beam blindfolded simply did not hold water. Unless they knew that they weren't actually doing the expected task, I don't see how there couldn't be more emotion going on, during and after! And no one slipped?? Bogus. (but I'll keep watching because I wanna see who Fat Momma slips a poisoned donut to).

Minor thing, but I noticed a mistake in the opening credits! When they flash the names of the super heroes that Stan Lee has created, they leave the hyphen out of Spider-man's name! (Spidey himself has even mentioned the hyphen before to ensure reporters spell it correctly). Do I win a No Prize?

I'm getting a "Joe Schmoe Show" vibe from this show -- except without the Joe Schmoe. Not that its not giving me entertainment value, but it's looking more and more like everything about this show is scripted. Even Fat Mama (hey, even Hollywood movies occasionally have calls for fat characters).

Is anyone else as geeky as I am to think when Stan Lee said that Peter Parker would never reveal his alter-ego: "Wait a minute! Marvel comics just had an issue where Peter Parker told the entire world in a live television broadcast that he was Spider-man." Do I get a no prize too?

I thought about mentioning that too, but figured not enough people follow the comics.

and geez, he revealed his secret identity like 12 times already in the movies...

i think it's definitely a joke of a show. how could you not say you would eliminate yourself? lee said "in true superhero fashion." how dumb can you be?

but i'll still be watching.

Just like "superheroes never kill" and a few other of the super-qualities, Stan is still living with a '60's mentality.
