at Las Vegas starting a month later than the show behind it (L&O).

Yeah, I don't like the fact that Las Vegas is starting so late, but in the article, they said that the reasoning behind it is to allow the show to air original episodes for most of the season without repeats.

I thought of that (like ABC is doing with Lost) but Las Vegas is a repeatable kind of show.

Good to see NBC learned from ABC's mistakes with Millionaire and is doing something different with Deal or No Deal

Does anyone know when Medium will return?

Medium is coming back mid-season or sooner depending on the performance of the new shows. Orginally Crossing Jordan was coming back mid-season, but NBC changed their minds.
