Now that's a rock star... on the verge of a nervous breakdown...

Jadzia 08-28-06 12:04 PM

I think I am starting to side with Dilana's mom.

where are you getting these reality episodes..is it like big brother with live feed, or a separate show you are watching?

I haven't watched the reality episodes. Why is siding with Dilana's Mom such a burn?

Big Boy Laroux 08-28-06 01:36 PM

there's nothing about the mom on the reality episodes. they're referring to one of the shows from this past week, when she said she was estranged from her mom.

mllefoo 08-28-06 02:35 PM

Oh. Dilana's just a freakshow and always has been a freakshow. But then, I've never liked her style of singing. It's way too drunken old stevie nicks for my taste.

BDLOU 08-28-06 04:00 PM

Just watched the webisode. Dilana says at the end "this horrific thing that has happened to me...was the best thing to happen". Happened to her?? She was the cause of all of it. I wasn't too much of a fan of hers before all of this but now I'd like to see her be the next kicked out.

rkndkn 08-28-06 05:48 PM

Just watched the webisode, and I think Lukas is right -- if Dilana can't handle the situation now, no way she can deal with leading this band. That whole throwing of the glass and cutting Magni's head was out of control.

Ryan seemed a little hypocritical when he spoke about not dissing anyone because he has to be able to sleep at night. He was so disrespectful to Dana from the beginning -- and not just on a mansion show but on the regular show.

That's exactly what I was coming here to say. She's a total head case. That does not work in a band, trust me.

Does the behind the scenes episode air on any networks in the US, or is it just online? It airs on Global here in Canada.

Yeah, that will probably do it. She's got no chance now.

Don't/Didn't many major rock bands have/had head cases?
Look at the 3 in this one ...
Gilby-Axl
Lee-Vince
Jason-Lars/James

movieking 08-29-06 08:38 AM

So why would they want to deal with it again?

Regardless, whoever the lead singer is will never be an equal part of the band, and will always looked down on by the band, like an employee, IMO.

atlantamoi 08-29-06 12:38 PM

I still like Dilana as a singer more than anyone else, but geez. I didn't see the online show, but it sounds like she's digging her own grave. Can't stand people like that.

This is the PRIMARY reason why they will never take Dilana...Supernova is the chance for these guys to be the frontmen (and make money doing it, which is the missing ingrediant from thier other passion projects)

BTW, Dilanas outburst didnt bother me so much as her total inability to communicate the reasons why she did any of it, or how she was feeling.

A well explained outburst is human.

An outburst with no, or a non-senceical explination is CRAZY

No, it's only online in the U.S. this year. (Luckily, I can watch during lunch at work since I have only dial-up at home.)

Big Boy Laroux 08-29-06 02:43 PM

rigth, she never gave any reason for saying any of the stuff she said. she just kept saying "i'm too honest" instead of giving a reason why... like why she thinks toby isn't there to be in the band, for example.

Telling Ryan he was nothing without the band isnt about honesty...it might be her truth but not THE truth. It's her opinion and it was just plain rude.

DVD Josh 08-29-06 05:21 PM

It is claimed that the band has already selected
Spoiler:
Loukas
as their lead singer.

Just like Mig last year...

;)

TeamAnS 08-29-06 07:46 PM

My personal opinion is that Magni is already with the group. My evidence is that they brought his family there when last year they wouldn't let anyone have any contact with family.

TeamAnS 08-29-06 08:16 PM

Loved Loukas' song
