Words or phrases you learned from TV
I've been getting caught up on HBO's The Wire, and it struck me how often they use the word 'shitbird'. (It essentially means the same as 'shithead' and other such insults.) I don't think I've ever heard that word other than on that show, but I actually kind of like it and use it occasionally.
What words/phrases have been introduced to you through TV that you find yourself using? I don't mean 'catch phrases', but something actually new that you hadn't heard before.
