This will truly be an emotional evening. Despite the show's ups and downs over the years, I've loved every minute of it, and I am really going to miss watching it. Thank goodness for the DVDs.

Too bad they had to screw this grand finale up by placing it opposite 24. Thank god for Tivo.

It sucked at times, but overall it was a pretty good series. It will be missed from my season pass list.

Agreed. I'm going to miss it. I just wish they wouldn't have scheduled it opposite 24. Now I have to watch this on vcr.

Damn what a tough night 24, Alias, & Raw. I guess Raw gets vcr duty since it's not in HD.

Well, 24 starts an hour earlier than Alias, so I'll watch that until 9, then flip to Alias. A series finale for my favorite show trumps the season finale of my next favorite show. Besides, my DVR will capture both, so I can catch up on what I miss, tomorrow.

Hm. The title of the finale makes me wonder if the poster in the last Alias thread was onto something when he came up with a theory about a (potential spoiler)

time machine.
I can't wait. This series will be missed.

Great finale, Tonights episode was very solid, I liked the ending, liked what happened to Sloan, I just wish Marshell was there at the very end. Liked the ending with Sidneys kid putting the puzzle together. Some great moments though,

This was a great series. sad to see it go, I thought every season exept for season 4 were fantastic, even season 4 I thought while not as good as others was very entertaining.

anyone else feel like tonights episode felt like a movie, some great visuals and production values.

Heh, had to laugh at Sloane's fate. Sad to see what happened to Jack, but he went out on his terms, and Irina went out reaching for something she was probably not worthy of possessing. It appears that things calmed down for Sydney and Vaughn and their kids, but they are still "in the game". They alluded to Isabella to be Alias: The Next Generation.

Merrin Dungey looked "cut" in her flashback scene as Francie.

Overall, a good send-off for the gang at Alias, and I guess it ended as well as possible, going out on its own terms too, just like Jack.

Good finale

Loved Nadia taunting Sloane while he was under the rubble.

So the Tom stuff from the past few episodes was pointless. Knowing your about to die sucks, knowing your about to die and you could have banged Rachel if you lived really sucks.

This finale definitely felt like a movie. Sad to see the show go. Agreed that Marshall should have been there at the end.

What exactly happened with Sloane? Jack blew up the cave and some rocks fell on sloane and he's trapped there forever?

Pretty much. Sloane gets to live forever, trapped in a cavern unable to move, all alone.

poor poor Sloane. immortality has its consequences.

I think all the loose ends got wrapped up nicely. Season 5 was good enough to have kept the show on the air. Season 4 jumped the shark.

SpyDaddy went out with a bang!
Bristows - best dysfunctional Spy family ever!!

Excellent finale - over the top, tragic, some good laughs (I hurt my stomach laughing at Lena Olin achingly reaching for that ball on the rooftop!)

And a happy ending.

Finale: A+

I'm sad to see Alias go... it really does feel like the end of an era or something. I'm glad, however, that it was sent off with such grace. Though I could not have predicted it, Sloane's fate was absolutely perfect. I'm also glad to see that Sydney & Vaughn have some years of peace and happiness. Hopefully Isabelle will have a life with a little less stress than Sydney's.

Goodbye ALIAS, it's been a great run!

Absolutely agree here!

Have to give some props for ABC to actually sticking with this one. Never a ratings hit, but the finale did this show justice.

This finale was horrible.

I watched every freaking Alias from the beginning. I helped it kill the X-files. I HOPE that when JJ created this show 5 years ago tonights finale was not what he had in mind.

I'm unclear on what even happened.

Irina said "Rambaldi is alive."
The red goo, when laid in, heals all wounds and makes you immortal.
The same red goo that made the Russians zombies?

So the thing that Sloane wanted from Rambaldi crap was immortality? I think we all knew that was part of it, hence the clock maker from the first season, but I never thought it would be the extent of it.

I feel cheated, depressed, and disgusted that I wasted 5 years of my life on this. I came in here expecting to see alot more of you agreeing with me than laying down this "Great finale" stuff.

But, the Mavericks beat San Antonio so I really don't care right now.

Sounds good for an ironic twist to a Twilight Zone episode, but not for the finale of a series in which I've invested five years. Lame.

He would be immortal with all the power and money he gained when he took out the 12 memebers of prophet five.

That sounds like Sloane's dream.

So he doesn't even need to eat to stay alive?
All and all good finale though a bit confusing. I am pissed they killed Jack though. I think they brough back just about everyone they could in the last stretch of the season. The only one they did not bring back was Vaughn's wife from season 3. Thank god.
