Law & Order, Law & Order: CI questions. (SPOILERS!)
So with this ADA gone, who's the replacement? They never seem to last more than 2 seasons, but this was a good way to get rid of her. I'm glad they didn't hype it up as "One of these people will be teh die", at least not that I saw.
On Criminal Intent, with the Lt. leaving, who's going to take over? I thought it was pretty stupid that he kept mentioning he was leaving, as if we needed to be hit over the head with it (or really care, he's never had much screen time).

I was amazed they managed not to leak the info about the cast members leaving - it's hard to keep a secret these days. Since I only watch half of CI I was a bit confused as to why the lt. was leaving but what can you do. The L&O revolving door goes round once again.

Jesus - why didn't they do that to the Rohmbot.
That was a very good episode last night - best of the season, but Dick Wolf forgot that McCoy already did the sting fake trial deal back in S7 or S8, and in that one, he did not inform the presiding judge that it was a phony trial/prosecution.

I liked Alex much more than Rohmmy. First Alex on SVU gets "taken out" and entered into witness protection. Now this. Let's hope Goran's Alex watches her back. Does Wolf have something against chicks named Alexandra? As for announcements that Annie was leaving...i'm not Mr. Matrix when it comes to the totality of entertainment news on the internet, but thanks to this forum, TV Guide.com (Ausiello, etc) and some other forums, I didn't come across any reports that Annie was leaving. I knew Wolf was planning on "shaking things up", but nothing like this.

Anyone find it funny that the most hated ADA was the one who was on the show the longest?
Maybe they can bring in one of the Trial By Jury or Conviction chicks to be McCoy's latest object of desire.

) the Globe. And while I don't get TV Guide in the mail, I visit the site almost every day. Weird that they didn't have it on there. IIRC Ausiello mentioned that Wolf was shaking things up, but I don't remember specificality. No matter. It still sucked. Here's what it says on Wikipedia
On April 26, 2006 Fox News reported that Parisse had quit her role as Assistant District Attorney Alexandra Borgia on Law and Order amid rumors of the show's imminent cancellation. The show, however, has been renewed for a seventeenth season. However, Parisse's character was killed off at the end of Season 16.

Do you get TNT HD in NY (or just TNT)? L&O is on a few times a day, I randomly choose eps to save based on their description. My years working nights before DVRs came out means I missed quite a few myself.
There were rumors it was going to be cancelled, but it's been picked up for at least one more year.
I liked Elisabeth Rohm, too.

f J. August Richards would move to L&O I would be very happy. But they haven't had a guy in that role since they canned Richard Brooks
They'll never have a man in that role, because the network decreed a woman must be the ADA (also why they canned Dann Florek).

Rather odd, since I think Parisse is the oldest looking female ADA they've ever had. She looks like somebody in early middle age.

I hated rohm and thought she was not only a horrible actress but a whining baby whenever she opened her mouth. I like the three previous women, Lowell, Henessy and Harmon.
On that note, I think West as the DA was horrible as well, similar to Rohm. Whiner, patronizing, just bad.
I haven't watched the L&O new eps consistently, maybe a few eps a season, since about 2001-2002. They have just slowly gone downhill since then, sort of like the Simpsons. Seasons 1 and 4-12 or 13 were the best.

Any of the ADAs from TBJ or Conviction would work for me.
