Oh wait I've got it. When I posted my idea about the actor who played Gareth I didn't think he should play Gareth. What would be even better is if guy who played Tim was the one working next to him and he convinces him to go after Pam (or is completely cynical and tells him not to go after her).

I'd prefer that if they wanted to use the guy who played Tim, they bring him in as "guy who now works at Jim's old desk" for one shot and only one shot just for the sight gag.

All I can say is I'm VERY glad none of us are writers for this show.

(I do like Jimmy James' idea, though. That would suitthe tone of the show.)

I didn't read this thread or anything but I recently got hooked to The Office. I don't watch TV much AT ALL, especially network television so this was quite the surprise. I really love this show and its subtleties. I watched both seasons in less than 2 days (won't get into how I watched season 2 as you can probably assume how), I think I barely slept. Jenna Fischer might just be the most perfect person alive and the final execution of that meeting with her and Jim was superb. I sit on pins and needles for Season 3 myself. I only got hooked to Curb and Arrested Development like this before so I am glad another show is out there.

Got a Dwight bobblehead for Father's Day. It's sitting on my desk now. :thumbsup:
