Looks like House lost a little from its regular idol ratings to dancing with stars.
|
Calling it "Dancing with the mediocre" gets old pretty fast. Got anything else up your sleeve?
|
I have a feeling that if he's ever banned from posting here there will be a news story a few days later about some guy in Winnipeg walking the streets firing a weapon randomly while screaming about the ratings of American Idol and Grey's Anatomy.

Since AI came back, House has been on after it 5 times. *******American Idol***House****+/- 1-30****33.29*********27.75***-5.54 2-6*****33.07*********24.95***-8.12 2-13****30.97*********25.97***-5 3-6*****27.80*********24.53***-4.27 3-27****26.84*********22.18***-4.66 The week before AI came back, House got 17.83. Interesting how from 2-6 to 2-13 AI dropped, but House gained. |
What's more interesting is the AI is steadily losing its audience week by week.

Not really that interesting, They don't really have any standout singers this year. |

Tuesday - 03/27 8-9pm (7-8pm): Nice to see lower ratings for AI this week, NCIS did pretty good for a repeat this week, nice to see. sad to see a good episode of dateline NBC get beat by a recap episode of dancing with the stars. awful ratings for a repeat of gilmore girls. 9-10pm (8-9pm): throgh i don't watch or like house its nice to see it beat dancing with the stars. Nice to see better ratings for L&O: CI this week. the repeat of the unit did alright last night and its sad to see anyone watching that pussycat doll reality show. 10-11pm (9-10pm): Nice to see L&O: SVU come in first, beating a repeat of shark. the great american dream vote lost alot of the dancing with the stars viewers. Shows by 18-49 Demo: nice to see L&O: SVU do pretty good in this demo. i don't like the top three shows. even L&O: CI did pretty good as well. Overall: Dateline NBC, L&O: CI & L&O: SVU were the top three shows of the night in my opinion, NCIS was a repeat so i didn't watch it because the s4 dvd should come out in sept. .................................................................................................... .... there how was that?..... anything wrong with my posts still? |

...very Nice!!
i guess i won't be running down the street shooting myself. (my posts will stay like that to make nice) |
Oh my god. Who is watching this Dances with the Stars and making it popular?
Sad! |
Oh my god. Who is watching this Dances with the Stars and making it popular? Sad! people seem to love these reality shows lately, and in my opinion it is ruining primetime television, not to be negative but i prefer well acted comedies/drama/other. |
I think the biggest thing about AI and Dancing with the stars is they are extremely family friendly. There is so little that prime time I can watch my 3 daughters, 9 and under. But these shows are very accessable. I can't exactly tune into, 24, Prison Break, NCIS, CSI, Jericho, Veronica Mars with them.
AI is in obvious need for a makeover, and I think if ratings continue to slip, we may have seen the last of Paula. |

Fact is, CBS isn't very tolerant/patient with shows that garner less than 10m viewers per week. |
We do agree. Great shows like Kidnapped come along and there gone in four episodes because people would rather watch something that they can watch while doing 3 other things and not missing any plot points. kidnapped was not great I think the biggest thing about AI and Dancing with the stars is they are extremely family friendly. There is so little that prime time I can watch my 3 daughters, 9 and under. But these shows are very accessable. I can't exactly tune into, 24, Prison Break, NCIS, CSI, Jericho, Veronica Mars with them. AI is in obvious need for a makeover, and I think if ratings continue to slip, we may have seen the last of Paula. anyways enough jibber jabber, moving on to wednesdays ratings..... I promise to play Nice! Wednesday - 03/28 8-9pm (7-8pm): through i dislike Bones, it stood on it own pretty good. Jericho's numbers are slightly improved, FNL's ratings are bad this week. & i think history has been made! the CW beat a big major network-ABC! wow! 9-10pm (8-9pm): Nice to see my Criminal Minds (repeat) do well for a repeat, Sad to see crossing jordan with poor ratings-it was a really good episode last night. ABC's (not so funny, in my opinon only) comedies are doing worse & worse every week, and the CW back to the end of the line again. 10-11pm (9-10pm): wow, did lost do terrible or what? sad, i thought lost has been getting better in terms of quality again over the past 2 weeks but the ratings arn't. CSIl NY through good it was a repeat so i didn't watch it but apperently alot of people did. through i don't watch medium it did do better than crossing jordan. Shows by 18-49 Demo: well we all know how i feel about AI so moving on, Lost did really good in this demo thankfully, sadly crossing jordan did not. My Shows-Wednesday - 03/28: Lost Crossing Jordan Criminal Minds (R) CSI: NY (R) Overall: Sadly 2 of the 4 shows i watch are doing poorly, criminal minds & CSI: NY did pretty good esp. for repeat episodes, so they are in no danger of getting cancelled. |

You know how CBS is when a show drops below 15 million viewers.
|
But something like CSI: NY gets decent ratings (and is usually #1 in the time slot) when there are new episodes (hell, it was almost that with a rerun). Neither Criminal Minds (which easily gets over 15m viewers a week when new) and CSI: NY were ever in danger of getting cancelled. For CBS, I think 10m is the limit (which NBC would love, lol).
