good to see men in trees doing good its a pretty good show. i know CSI was a repeat but it was good to see ER beat them in overall ratings.

Well, even though Men in Trees did well, that's a 55% drop in viewers following Grey's Anatomy... (22.94m vs. 10.26m)

Any show going up against Grey's Anatomy and CSI is going to have it tough, so I'm sure NBC is aware of that.

(Although I am worried about one of my favorite shows, Supernatural, dragging along in last place in that same timeslot - behind even the recently canceled O.C. I hope the CW opts to move it to a less competitive timeslot instead of cancel it, if it ever comes to that.)

The bulk of that drop is with Scrubs. I am surprised they didn't swap 30 Rock and Scrubs. The Office would be a stronger leadin to promote a new show.

Solid premiere numbers for 24, although I was really hoping for better.

OMG! Crossing Jordan's numbers are awful!! The Apprentice actually beat it? It got hammered by Without a Trace and Brothers and Sisters.

Yeah, I think it's the end of the road for Crossing Jordan unless it can somehow improve in the coming weeks. I can't see how, though, with B&S and WaT taking basically all demos which leaves little left for CJ (not to mention a poor Apprentice lead-in).

As for 24, we'll see tonight how it'll do when there isn't a Playoff game going against it early on (which explains why it gained over 1m viewers in the 9:00 hour).

Yeah that's a real shame about CJ. I absolutely love Jill Hennessy and she's the 1 reason why I watch CJ. Maybe it would have faired better on it's proposed Friday at 8pm timeslot with Las Vegas that NBC originally planned.

It's gotta get back to at least 10 million viewers, which is unlikely, otherwise it's definitely the end of the road.

Great to see Cold Case and Without a Trace do so well... hopefully that will help sales of WaT with Season 2 sales and with releasing the other seasons. For as much hype as I've seen and heard for 24, very close with Cold Case and WaT ratings.

Sad to see where Crossing Jordan is. I watched the first few seasons and watched them on A&E, but after the 3rd season or so... it just went downhill for me.

Is there any reason why Friday's ratings aren't there? I'd like to see how well shows do on Fridays as well.
