I read that when “Lost” returns, it’ll air at 10pm rather than 9pm with “Criminal Minds” doing well and with the return of “American Idol”.

Yikes. I think I could air my home movies and get better ratings than that. :)

Man, Criminal Minds keeps gaining an audience. Granted it is not against Lost right now, but I think it's jumped over a million viewers in the past week few weeks.

And, again, I still stand by my prediction that ABC is going to regret their decision to air a few episodes of Lost and then have a huge hiatus like that. Lost will bleed viewers when it returns, unfortunately. And Day Break flopped.

I think they just killed the gold-egg-laying goose. We'll see.

I'm extremely happy they did it the way they did, I absolutely HATED the way they did it last year.

Criminal Minds seems to have leveled off - seems to average the low 16 millions.

Like I said in my post, Lost is moving to 10pm due not only to Criminal Minds going up in ratings, but also American Idol will be starting. It would've really been bleeding since AI takes a good chunk of Lost's audience (whereas Criminal Minds should be safe).

Yeah, I guess I looked at last week's #'s which was a rerun. Still, 16 - 17 million a week is phenomenal, especially considering it's only in it's sophomore year.

Oh, me too... definitely.

But I would rather see them go straight through the entire run without a break. Or, at least make the breaking point a little more even. 6 episodes followed by a 3 month gap seems a bit much to me.

how does csi do it, its not an intresting program and it was a repeat last night so why do people still watch it. there was a lot of repeats last night due to the fact alot of there shows have had there christmas episodes already and won't return to the new year.

'Interesting' is in the eye of the beholder.

CSI episodes stand alone - you don't need to watch every episode to keep up. Therefore, they are going to repeat better. For example, I'll sometimes watch CSI Miami episodes (just for the HD quality and to laugh at Caruso) in the summer; I don't watch it first-run.

Caruso is indeed fun to laugh at. I like that he ends his sentances in the same monotone kind of way... :p

I'm one of those who likes the original CSI and will watch new episodes...
