I dunno, that seems to be the normal amount of viewers it gets.
Lost was up for the week-to-week, the official rating it got (total viewers) was 17.1m. |

Possibly, but more likely it's because 1. GG was a repeat and so VM's lead in was about half normal and 2. It was Halloween, a lot of people were out.

I glad to see Criminal Minds doing so well.

Why people continue choosing to watch the procedural, formulaic Criminal Minds over the thought provoking, character driven Lost escapes me.

I'm glad to see that ONE TREE HILL was able to pull in those numbers of a repeate, though! |

I'm a Lost fan, but the better show is definitely winning here. |
I'm surprised Criminal Minds is such a hit, because I tried watching it when it first debuted last season and I quickly dropped it because it did not seem like a very good show, compared to all the other procedurals. I much preferred that Fox show Killer Instinct, but that didn't last long at all.
I am obviously not a Nielsen viewer. |
I've never seen a single second of Criminal Minds. Unlike other shows (like Numbers), the promos never grabbed me. On the other hand, I've basically dropped Lost since I can catch up with DVD and have decided I'd rather watch Mythbusters. Yes, I know thats blasphamy to most, but I'm tired of them jerking around with so many new questions and little (if any) answers to the questions they posed in episodes that came before.
Anyways, it is interesting to see something like Criminal Minds beat Lost (and this isn't the first time), wonder how it'll hold up through the season and when Lost comes back after its hiatus. |

I watched the first couple of episodes of Criminal Minds last year, but it didn't hold my interest long enough to keep me watching. It's a serialized drama for the most part, so you don't need the commitment you do with Lost.

Ouch. |
ABC just needs to cancel Six Degrees.
|
If I were Fox, I would move the O.C. away from Grey's Anatomy. I would imagine Grey's gets most of the younger women viewers in that hour. They should either move it up an hour or give it Standoff's slot before House.

I had watched one or two Shark episodes and then I had recorded four Shark episodes. I finally got around to watching the first of the recorded ones. Then I deleted the rest. I just can't watch this crap anymore. I think the next one I'll drop is Jericho. It's just so cheesy and the mother's acting drives me batty. Perhaps my favorite new show is Heroes. I'm still watching the Nine, but I'm not sure how long I'll do that. It's getting a bit hokey.

Happy Hour has been sacked by Fox. Sucks. Judging by the numbers 'til Death cannot be far behind. So, that makes three shows I watched this year that have been cancelled already: Kidnapped, Smith, Happy Hour. Not a good average when I only tried out 16 shows.
