Wow, I agree with Simon. That performance was manic. And at this stage in the game, there is absolutely no excuse for forgetting lyrcis. Terrible.

based on talent of the remaining 4
kat should definitly be going home
based on voting history and demographics, elliot will probably be going home
their performances dont really matter much this week.. unless someone screws up a performance really bad
edit... kindof like the way kat butchered her crappy first performance

Too bad since Elliott has a great voice.
Kat's performance this time wasn't as pitchy or off-key, just more manic. She needs another great second performance to survive.
Edit: ha ha ha, I can't listen to Chris' second song without thinking of Ocean's Eleven.

Again, I agree with Simon about Chris' second performance. Kinda flat/lifeless at the beginning before he kicked it up a notch, Emeril style.

I've always thought of Elvis as one singer who mastered the entire range of his voice. A number of popular singers (and their listeners) tend to think that the higher notes should be the big draw to a song. But the best singers know how to communicate that excitement and urgency with their entire vocal range, not just the "money notes". It's fine if you can hit that "G" or "A" (for a guy), but if the rest of the song sounds like you are bored, who cares?
That's why Chris' lower range vocals didn't excite as much. He's not comfortable with singing that way. Nice job at the end.

were there is a long section of slow flat talking, before kicking it up
i think he did it right.. but its questionable whether you want to chose a song with talking in it, in a singing competition

Ok, here is the deal: everyone should call their close family and their friends and tell them to get on the horn and vote for Elliott. The guy REALLY deserves to make it through. For only the second time ever, I am gonna make some calls tonight. If you think Elliott should advance, you NEED to get on the phone. If you don't, we might be stuck with Kat and Taylor for the next 3 weeks.
