Has this always been on the oceanic air website?
"If anyone should find this message, please get word I'm alive and stranded on an island somewhere in the South Pacific. Please send help soon. Things are bad. And they're getting worse...
Sally
I survived a horrific plane crash and am stranded on an island somewhere Northeast of Australia and Southwest of Hawaii. In the event that I am never found, please forward word of my fate to my parents."

I've been reading some of the websites and blogs and I'm surprised that no one have mentioned the A.I. game. I'm pretty sure it is the same creative team putting this game together. The difference this time, and the genius, is all the corporate sponsoring. Sprite, Monster.com, Verizon, Jeep, etc. Not to mention the Bad Twin book. That is making them some money as well. I even think the Save Joop T-shirts were commissioned by the game producers.
Another differnece is the proliferation of piggyback sites. It is so much easier to get a website up now than it was when A.I. came out that tons of sites are popping up with allusions to the Lost world but really have no connection to the game. It is making it hard to tell what is "in game" and what isn't. This thread has links to http://www.widmoregroup.com & http://www.valenzettifoundation.org which are both suspected of being fan sites that are not officially "in game"

Is there a thread devoted to all the secret messages in the original Oceanic site? Since the season finale, I think I'm going to try to fill my need for Lost by trying to stay up with all of this stuff.

^^^ Aww, thank you very much. That's just the kind of thing that I was looking for. I wanted to make sure that I didn't end up missing out on anything and a friend of mine also wanted to get in on all the online Lost stuff.

Amazon.com has an exclusive clip of an interview with Gary Troupe.

Has anybody found anything interesting in the hansocareers.org site? And is there something related to Lost in sublymonal site. I still can't believe that a Sprite commercial has a tie-in with Lost. It is pretty creative by the Lost group to have come up with that.

Well nothing too exciting was happening with this, but today it got a bit more interesting.
Remember episode 2x2 - "Adrift," which aired again last night? Sawyer and Michael and the Dharma shark?
Now on the Hanso Foundation site, you can get to this - http://www.thehansofoundation.org/swf/extra/iga.swf - click on the guy, then by the cable, then the...shark
.

This is the first time this "game" has referenced Dharma...and it's funny that it shows up right after the re-airing of that episode. I was just wondering last night, after reading the description for the show (it mentioned something about a new predator in the ocean), why the hell they never even brought it up again in the last 21 eps of S2. It looks like we'll find out more this summer and next season.

Thought some of you might be interested that they are now talking about nanotechnology with this. There were plenty of theories out there about nanotech during S1...so either they are throwing this out there as a red hering, or it's actually part of the plan.
During one of the DJ Dan podcasts ( http://djdan.am/ ) there was a "caller" from a Big Ten U. who said millions of nanobots together would look like a storm cloud.

Still pretty cool though.

And Bad Twin was really written by...
Curious -- and unfortunate -- that the "real" author deviated away from what he was supposed to write about in the novel. The article makes it sound like the producers are going to abandon the "Gary Troupe" storyline in the show now. I would think that they would have had the author on a tighter leash for a project like this that was presumably going to be incorporated into the show's storyline.
Guess I won't have to bother buying and reading the book now.

For those who haven't clicked on it - the main point of it for those not following the "game" is it sort of explains what the numbers are.
