Ah, I see that the season finale is coming up. That means I start watching the show again.

Ranger 05-05-06 01:22 PM

I missed last night's episode because a meeting ran late.

Who exacly is
Spoiler:
Jarnelle? I figure that he or she is somehow controlling Lionel Luthor.

Timber 05-05-06 01:33 PM

Jor-El. Clark's (Kal-El's) father.

Ranger 05-05-06 01:38 PM

Oh. OK, just never heard of him going by that name.

GuessWho 05-05-06 02:55 PM

To clarify, Jor-El is Clark's natural father from Krypton -- not Jonathan Kent who found baby Clark and adopted him.

Ranger 05-05-06 03:12 PM

Yes, I know that. :)

edytwinky 05-05-06 06:59 PM

Well the season finale kind of snuck up on me. I'm so there though. In a season with many great moments stuck in a ton of filler episodes, hopefully they can end it strong.

mikehunt 05-05-06 07:00 PM

and in bizarro world, aka smallville, Jor-el is really Zod ;)

riley_dude 05-06-06 12:00 AM

Better episode than usual. Funny how people say that the best episodes are the ones at the beginniing of the season and at the end. I think they are right.

Kal-El 05-06-06 01:23 AM

Now THAT was a fucking great Smallville Episode.

Legolas 05-06-06 01:27 AM

They're going to cop out with Zod, aren't they? Instead of actually bringing him onto the show (Dean Cain?), they're just going to have Lex be possessed. Then it'll be a superpower duel between him and Clark, and after Clark wins, Lex will have no memory whatsoever of what happened.

Isn't that like saying the Kansas City Royals are at the top of their form?

In the minority it seems, but I thought this episode was painfully boring and uneventful......especially for an episode leading into the season finale.

The only event of significance really was Lex being injected with the virus.....which is just a huge X-files rip-off anyway.

Was there even a shred of doubt that the Jonathan "ghost" wasn't Fine? Nothing in this episode worked for me unfortunately.

SuprVgeta 05-07-06 01:31 AM

Excellent episode, I wish all episodes were at the same level as this one.

Tazwolff 05-07-06 02:57 AM

This episode in the season was kinda like gas prices. Raise it 50 cents then back off 10 cents and every body's happy.
