Sooooo.... are Ryan and Creed fired?

Ryan seemed to be kinda worked up about the test. Asking if they were hiring immediately at the lab. I interpreted this as him being rather worried about the results of the test. And Creeds encylopedia knowledge, combined with what crumbs we've been fed about his character, leads me to believe that his experience would be firsthand.

But the episode just kind of ended.

I think Ryan is looking for any excuse to get out working at that office and it doesn't have anything to do with failing a drug test.

dick_grayson 04-28-06 12:46 PM

I'm pretty sure the joke was that he would most definately test positive.......I could be wrong though.

Nefarious 04-28-06 12:46 PM

I would also guess that a drug testing facility performs drug tests on their new hires so if he can't pass it for the paper office he wouldn't be expecting to get hired by the proctor of the exam.

Anyone have the exact quote of the exchange between Creed & Dwight?

and you are. he's always saying he wants out of there...that was the joke, that he'd rather work with urine than in the Office.

yeah, I guess you're right.....after all, why would a drug testing company hire someone who just failed a drug test. still, I thought they were going the other way with it (since Ryan mentioned going to "parties" and so on)

Such great stuff........

Creed idetifying the strain of MJ and Dwight saying no it's marijuana was the line of the night. The last shot with Jim was also awesome.

Yep, it was a "get me out of this crazy place/I'd rather work with piss than here" joke.

Jim is awsome. John Krasinski is one of the funniest people on television. His delivery & expressions are perfect for the character and the show.

Good ep, but they really missed an opportunity with the security guard. Here's how the dialogue should have gone:

Dwight: Yes! Honorary volunteer assistant security officer.

Security officer: Honorary volunteer assistant TO the security officer.

Nesbit 04-28-06 10:49 PM

There is no way that Jim or Pam is on Dwight's list.

My guess:
1. Kelly
2. Toby
3. Kevin
4. Meridith or Phyliss

dcswirl 04-28-06 11:18 PM

That's the law according to the rules

Chaza 04-28-06 11:35 PM

The joint was probably from one of the warehouse guy's. Unless I missed an explanation that only office staff parked in that area.

So you don't think it was Michael's leftover joint?

The way the episode hinted, he only "smoked" (it's still not clear if he smoked pot or not) at the concert.

I was 100% expecting that line.. I'm really surprised they didn;t do it.

1. Kelly

3. Kevin
4. Ryan

I didn't understand why Dwight was only interviewing the office employees, and not the warehouse employees as well.

I wonder if there's a deleted scene showing whose joint it was

Cuts from Dwight asking Phillis "do you know what this is?"
Creed: Hm, that... is Northern Lights, Cannabis Indica!
Dwight: (disappointed) No... (sigh) it's maijuana.

Some great scenes in this ep, but still didn't laugh nearly as much as I usually do.

Michael Corvin 04-30-06 05:01 PM

Dwigts stuff was too over the top for me. But watching the Jim/Pam interaction gave me a big goofy grin through the whole episode. Solid stuff.

That and Jim turning the interrogation around on Dwigt was comedy gold.

Dwight is afraid of the warehouse guys. Remember he said "they didn't count" when he said he could beat up anyone in the office.

Also, the warehouse guys probably park in a different area of the parking lot.

B.A. 05-01-06 04:55 PM

Jim reversing the interrogation was excellent.

As well as Creed identifying what strain of ganja was in the picture.

But the whole "jinx" sub-plot kept the ep going.
