How much property damage for Fran & Barry this week?

Way over due for non-elim, so I'm voting that this week.

Is it possible that this season there won't be any non-elimination leg?

Anything's possible. I don't recall them ever giving a disclamer about "pre-determined non-elimination legs."

For voting matters, it doesn't matter what happens to them as a consequence (philiminated or stripped of belongings).

I'm going to guess it's a non-elimination episode. Other than the "this leg is not over" episode and the customary "a look back at the race so far" episode, the non-elim is the only way to stretch the season out. I'd prefer they just added a few more teams at the beginning, but then that adds to the complicated logistics.

As for who comes in last, I'm going to go out on a limb and say Mojo.

Yeah this is problem by putting all the non-elims more than half-way through the season - easy to predict.

I'd rather have no non-elims and just do TBC legs. No freebies for finishing last.

Good episode. Glad to see the hippies are still around. I couldn't help but smile when Fran and Barry came first.

So does anyone know what Barry and Fran did before retirement? IIRC, Lake said something about how Fran should be nicer since she was a doctor's wife.

Barry was a urologist.

That was an enjoyable episode (made better by my fave team not getting the boot thanks to non-elim). I can't recall another season where all the teams seemed to be so chummy.

His imitation was dead on. I am probably the only one, but I miss Lake, as in the Ocean. Except for the hippies, the rest of the contestants are pretty ho-hum and that's why I wish Lake was still around in the game. He was crazy intense and always good for a funny line or two.
Mo was extremely lucky that she found that oven as quickly as she did, for if she had to endure what BJ went through until he found one, I think we would have witnessed a melt down along the lines the one Flo had in season three. Mo is all bubbly if things are going her way, but the second they turn for the worse she begins to break.

Christ, Vietnam AND medical school?!?! Why do we keep underestimating this guy?

I am thinking fran and barry are making it to the final 3. other teams are making mistakes now, and bj and tyler were plenty behind.
